My wife and I visited Holtville and found this place to eat. I was hoping to eat breakfast but got there after 11am which i understand, most places stop serving breakfast around that time. My wife got the enchilada plate and the beans were burnt. The enchiladas were ok she said. I got the carne asada torta. It was tasty and a good size. The red salsa was really good.

PRICES JUST KEEP GOING UP AND UP.... TOO FAST.
I love the food here, American style Mexican food. The fish taco is my favorite ever. (you'd laugh if you knew what they use for their fish)

But it is like everytime I go in the prices are 25 cents more than the time before.
I can't afford to eat here anymore.

Great stop on the way to San Diego! We got the fish taco dinner plate with flour tortillas, one of each enchilada with corn tortillas, and the Grande Quesadilla and everything was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly. Clean and cool restaurant and bathrooms. I loved the extra pickled vegetable bar. I recommend the hibiscus iced tea if they have it! Would go again for sure. The service was friendly and quick as well.
