Coolest place on 101. Breakfast and lunch stops mandatory! Complimentary pastries for the weekend breakfast!

Delicious and satisfying classic American diner breakfasts and lunches with a broad range of breads and ‘hamburger’ patties made to order. Fun decor! Excellent service.

We stopped by Blue Bird Cafe and were absolutely blown away. We ordered the corned beef hash and the chicken fried steak, both were delicious. The food was hearty, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home.

If you're in Hopland and craving a great meal with excellent service, this spot is a must-visit. Next time I'm driving through the 101, I’ll definitely stop by for lunch because their bison burger is calling my name.

Hopland is a small, rural community. A cafe like the Bluebird is important here. Easy going. Feels comfortable. Welcoming. And, good food. You can still see the cooks. We came for breakfast. The dining room is small (max seating is 47). The menu met every need and want. Portions were large and quality was excellent. We were even served complimentary scones and cinnamon rolls. We felt right at home.

Great little diner, a must stop if travelling on the 101. We stopped for breakfast and had the best pancakes we’ve had so far on the trip. Super friendly and beautifully decorated.
