Our family loves the Golden Pig. From the food to the tasty cocktails!!! And not to mention the amazing service! Riann always takes cares of us and goes above and beyond to keep her customers happy. There was even a situation during the heat of summer where the AC wasn’t working properly. She stayed so calm and kept the place running like it was nothing. So professional! We love Casey too! These girls are fantastic!!! Especially when it comes to making cocktails! Our youngest daughter has celiac and all their gluten free options makes this one amazing restaurant!!! We can’t say enough how much we enjoy The Golden Pig!!

My girlfriend and I stopped for lunch last Sunday and had a great experience! She got the sliders and a honey cider and I got the Reuben. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced (for the area). We sat at the bar and chatted with the two on duty, who were both super friendly and took great care of us. For dessert, we loved the amaretto cake (get it with a scoop of vanilla) and their spin on a White Russian with cinnamon.
Thank you, Payton, for taking care of us that day. We loved talking with you and watching you make all those gorgeous drinks. You were wonderful!

This place is a rare find. The food is exquisite and so much care has been put in the menu. My nephew has health issues, and this is the first place that he could choose anything on the menu. I recommend the pastrami, the burgers, the hand pie, and the pesto. We were so excited by the menu I think it took 20 minutes to order! Thank you so much Payton! She was extremely patient and spent time talking to us about the restaurant’s vision and the food. She was so wonderful!! Kudos to Hopland!

Rian is awesome! The food is wonderful! I walked in after being gone all summer and she remembered me and greeted me warmly and told me the pumpkin soup is back (she remembered my fav). The service is personable and warm and I appreciate that from Rian.
There are no seats with backs, only high stools and benches. Very uncomfortable and made it difficult to enjoy the meal.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “My wife and I had an exceptional dinner at the Golden Pig last night. Our server, Riann, was incredibly sweet and accommodating. She went above and beyond, offering us wine tastings from the owner’s local vineyard and even adjusting the lighting to create a more romantic atmosphere when we asked. Our food was good but our pig was a little dry. Easily made up for by the best shishito peppers ever and an excellent beet and goat cheese salad. Despite the late-night crowd, Riann handled everything seamlessly, but I think a busser to assist her would be a great addition. Overall, a fantastic experience—thumbs up to Riann and the Golden Pig!”

Time from sit-down to first waiter's approach: 15 minutes. Time between order and serving: 40 minutes for a kids grilled cheese, a bhan mi and a lasagna. That's 55 minutes from arrival to having a single bite despite us requesting things be brought up as they were ready (thinking a kids grilled cheese would take 10 minutes or so). No bread or updates were provided by the server, so as a customer you don't really feel you're being considered.
You would think the kitchen was backed up but the restaurant was at about 80% capacity and we saw 2 other four-person tables served before us despite ordering after us. So, there was no rhyme or reason to the delays. There's no bartender which is an issue as the servers also have to pour and mix drinks.
Great laid back atmosphere with great food and friendly staff.
