The place is several pieces of history, both Jack London and the Great Earthquake, all in one spot. Highly recommended as a reminder that sometimes great people do, in fact, drink alcohol!

Nope it’s not completely shut down. They are open Thursday to Sunday and closed Monday to Wednesday. We went there last April 3, 2022. The First and Last Chance Saloon is a very nice place, the pizza is good and Betty is very friendly.
