Let me start by saying I have eaten at this restaurant many times before. We have had after-work drinks, meetings, and birthdays, and have just enjoyed the casual dining experience. With that being said, the drinks are really good and consistent. If you sit at the bar the bartenders are attentive, refill your drinks, and have overall excellent customer service. However, the dining area staff needs some training. When we sit on this side we often have to wave down the staff to refill drinks or order more alcohol. Today for instance. We waited outside for about 5-7 minutes in the sun. It's about 90 degrees out and my wife is in her third trimester of pregnancy. We waited to be greeted and seated but no one came. Multiple staff members from the inside made eye contact with us, but they didn't even acknowledge us as customers. The older shorter lady even pointed at us, but no one came to the outside area to greet us or say well be right with you. If you eat here, then expect the drinks to be good, the food to be okay, but the service to be consistently bad. We ended up leaving and made the trip to Mi Casa in Turlock. Drinks are just as good and their molcajetes are much better here.

The food here is delicious, their homemade flour tortillas are amazing. My biggest complaint is the wait time, regardless if you schedule ahead of time I’ve had to wait no less than 30mins. Many times we have tried to stop by for lunch/dinner on a normal day and end up going elsewhere due to the wait times (even though i can clearly see many open tables). This will be my last time trying to eat here, they lost a good customer that has been eating here since they opened. I’m tired of driving 20mins just to be told 45-60min wait. I don’t know what’s changed but this was not an issue before.

The drinks were fantastic. The food, was ok. We went to celebrate my son's birthday and his steak was super salty. We informed the waiter. He was brought a new steak, and although it was not was salty it was very salty to eat. The party of 8 all had a piece of steak since my son said it was still salty. After we all had a piece we concurred it was still way too salty to enjoy. Although the ambiance and alcohol were great, I can't justify the amount I spend on ok food at best.

I love getting their steak bowl. We went recently to celebrate my moms birthday and it's a good amount of food to choose from. Would go back again!

Loved the food, loved the atmosphere, the server was quite nice and attentive... too bad the restaurant is so small. It can use a bigger space.

I have been there quite a few times and service has been good, how ever today was crapie never came by to ask if needed a thing but once, it was mothers day so they were busy but that place is always busy, I will go back every place has a bad day, how ever if go back and the service sucks twice, I wont go back for a long time.

I have been here many times and definitely was a let down this last time . We had a bigger party then usual I will say that but that doesn't give them no right to treat us any different then any others and the service was not good at all like if they didn't communicate with each other or want to be working. This used to be my favorite go-to restaurant for many years but wouldn't recommend seems to be run down..

Had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my cousin's birthday. Chile relleno with green sauce was delicious and carnita taco was very good too. We sat outside and weather was great and our server was very nice.

This is a hard one to write because the food is Amazing. The Drink List is Amazing. The service is terrible. I have been going to this spot since it opened and the food has always been stellar. We went in to celebrate a couple birthdays and the food was great service not so much. We ordered the drinks that took a really long time and the two birthday people didn't even get their drinks we had to ask a few times eventually they showed up. I ordered an app as my dinner it came before anyone else's food and before the drinks made the table. They ran out of one item ordered and told us, as they were dropping off all the rest of the food. Unfortunately I'm a glutton for punishment and the food quality is worth going back it's just a bummer that the service isn't better.

Took 40 minutes for our order to be taken. 25 minutes for our drink order to be taken. 15min for bar drinks to come out. Appetizers came out before bar drinks. Food is always delicious. It's the only reason we go back. And ambiance. Service is always lacking. Took over 15 minutes to get greeted. Then were rushed at the end because Its past closing but our reservation was more than enough time ahead. If service didn't take so long , and the server had better time management then we could have been finished by 10pm.

Service awesome food was great and the house margaritas were the best we had in a while we lived in Hughson for two years and this was are first time and we were very happy with everything see you again soon

I rarely have a bad experience in this restaurant but today was the day. Service was very inattentive and rarely checked on us. My order was wrong and when I sent it back they literally just took off done of the ingredients I asked to not have on my meal, and the waiter seemed annoyed I said something. Our main waitress was a bit rude and dropped off the tab but didn't come back for us to pay. This was very unusual as I've always gotten great service.
