“I come here because they offer a selection of food items. I especially appreciate the ton of veggies options with meat. The only negative I will state is that lately the food has been on the salty side. I will not give up on coming here because it's not always salty, for the most part it's well seasoned. I love their freshly carbonated soda. That is so important! The buffet area does appear clean, and kept in order along with food temperature. The ice cream section can use a bit of an upgrade. It gets a bit neglected but love their butter pecan with their sweet plantains. It's a great way to end a delicious meal.“

“Great food and service. I had a conference in the convention center. And we stopped by there every day for a quick breakfast. The owner makes everyone feel at home. Their fries are so delicious. Chicken burrito and combo plates are amazing.“

“One of my favorite restaurants in San Gabriel! They offer several all-you-can-eat options, including Hot Pot AYCE, Premium Hot Pot AYCE, BBQ AYCE, and their Luxury AYCE. My personal favorite is the Luxury AYCE, which includes both premium hot pot and BBQ skewers. This option is available for dinner only.

For hot pot, you can choose up to three broths and then order from a huge selection of meats, seafood, vegetables, and other hot pot items, along with Chinese BBQ skewers. Desserts are also included and available at the self-serve station. I usually grab the roll cakes. There’s a huge variety overall, so there’s something for everyone!

Parking is easy since there’s a parking lot, and the service is great. The servers are attentive and happy to answer any questions we have about the menu. Always a great experience here!“

“The food is typical Chinese food with a couple other choices. The price is phenomenal for the choices available. I was happy to see they have an A rating from the health department. Fresh food was continuously coming out we sat down around 2 p.m. and left around 3:30. We each had 3 plates plus some of the fresh sliced oranges. No loud music blaring. Simplistic and tasty.“

“A really solid balance of three all you can eat options in one. I was very impressed with the quality of service, options, and extremely good price. I didn't find a ton of foods that wowed me, but I did leave on a positive note.

“I've been going to Gill's for years. Everything I've had here has been over the top good. The flavors are amazing. The tandoori chicken is perfectly seasoned and smoky. All the curry based dishes are incredibly tasty. The coconut chicken is spot on. The average dish is $12-$15...what a deal! The restaurant is way in the back of the very old Stillwell Hotel. I happened to walk in once when they were unloading their groceries. LOTS of boxes of fresh produce. Not a bunch of canned and frozen stuff. That explains a lot of why the food is so good here. If you like Indian food, this is the place to go...and such a bargain!“

“A place that is definitely worth visiting. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming, making you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The staff is friendly and the place is very clean.

The sushi is one of the highlights—fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the presentation is excellent.

“This is so bad but I really don't understand this. This used to be my favorite buffet. Yesterday, this lady said I ate there and didn't say pay? I thought you had to pay before you could even sit down and eat? If she says I didn't pay, there is a wall of pictures of all the customers who didn't pay. Why isn't my picture there? I just don't understand why that lady made up such a weird lie about me unless I guess she's mistaking me for someone else? But if you falsely accuse customers of eating and not paying that's just really not good for business. You're gonna chase your customers away. I was a repeat customer but not anymore. I don't see why I would eat and not pay because I really liked that buffet and always want to come back. I dunno was this lady on a power trip and that's why she lied? she kept saying you know what you did. but I don't and if she can't say what I did than it's like she knows making a false accusation?“

“There is a variety of food options available for everyone from sushi rolls, pizza, chicken nuggets, Chinese, etc. Some food options were out for a while which tasted stale and lost flavor, but it was very few things compared to most of the available options.
The service was well as they had staff putting out food, clean utensils and serving refills for drinks.
The environment was pretty loud in some areas and the lighting is a bit dim, which can be improved on to feel welcoming or light up the dining area. Great price overall if you want to get all you can eat sushi along with other food options.“
