While sweet bread and coffee in the morning is a must for any hispanic, this place is not a great place, their bread variety is not great, their coffee is ok but not great, their prices are way above average which is what they are in reality

Bright, cheerful bakery with delicious pan dulce. The conchas are soft and slightly sweet. They also serve good coffee and sandwiches. Staff is friendly and quick. Great for a morning pick-me-up.

I stopped in for a café de olla and stayed for the tres leches cake. Everything was fresh, and the space is bright and colorful. Their mini conchas are perfect for sharing, and I took a box home. Staff was patient with my indecisiveness at the counter. It feels like a slice of Mexico City here in LA

I absolutely love the horchata matcha strawberry drink here! It’s the perfect mix of creamy, sweet, and refreshing. Every time I come to La Monarca, it’s my go-to treat. The flavor combination is unique and so delicious, definitely something u can’t find just anywhere. Highly recommend!

The food and drinks are delicious however when full filling a uber or DoorDash order. They need to add cup holders. Idk why they put drinks in bags and not have something to hold it. More than once we have had an entire order damaged from a drink spilling. Please stop putting drinks in bags without a holder

I ordered a chocolate cake and when I arrived to pick it up at the time specified by the website, I was told they didn't have chocolate cake or what they needed to make it. They offered me the only 3 options they had available, note this was in the morning so I was extremely disappointed when they advertised so many options online. I choose the tres leches and I was disappointed when it was dry. The cakes are overpriced when you consider the size and the taste being underwhelming. I'm never buying a cake from this place when there are much better options available.

They have the breakfast biscuits already made from who knows when. You can’t ask for modifications to your sandwich. The service is awful when you ask for something they give you the worst attitude. One e my favorite place. Now I’m never coming back. I’ll just buy the coffee bag and make it at home.
