La Monarca Bakery & Cafe

I ordered a chocolate cake and when I arrived to pick it up at the time specified by the website, I was told they didn't have chocolate cake or what they needed to make it. They offered me the only 3 options they had available, note this was in the morning so I was extremely disappointed when they advertised so many options online. I choose the tres leches and I was disappointed when it was dry. The cakes are overpriced when you consider the size and the taste being underwhelming. I'm never buying a cake from this place when there are much better options available.

They have the breakfast biscuits already made from who knows when. You can’t ask for modifications to your sandwich. The service is awful when you ask for something they give you the worst attitude. One e my favorite place. Now I’m never coming back. I’ll just buy the coffee bag and make it at home.

I can’t say enough good things about this bakery in Huntington Park! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the friendliest service – the staff truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I recently visited this bakery for the first time to place a catering order for some pan dulce for an event at work, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! I was unsure of what to order, but Martina, a very kind and knowledgeable baker, was incredibly helpful in recommending different types of breads. She explained how they use high-quality ingredients and that all the breads are made fresh daily. Her expertise really shone through, and I’m so grateful for the time she took to guide me through my options.

Sylvia, who was working at the register, also provided wonderful service. She was patient, kind, and efficient while taking down my order. When I came back to pick up my order, everything was ready on time, and the bread was a huge hit at my work event! It disappeared quickly, and I received so many compliments, with people asking me where I got it from.

I can’t believe I hadn’t been to this bakery before, especially since I live in the community. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place for anyone who needs fresh, delicious bread for work events or any type of gathering.

I’ve been a regular at this store for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about Cecilia, the manager. She is always so helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about all the products. Every time I walk in, Cecilia and her team greet me with the warmest smiles and make me feel so welcomed. The atmosphere here is unmatched! And I have to mention the cafe de olla it’s simply amazing. The coffee is out of this world, and the bread is always fresh and delicious. I absolutely love, love, love coming here. Highly recommend this store for the wonderful service and delightful treats!

I usually like to support local businesses in the area. I like your coffee and I love your bread. Your service is not so great, but I'm sure you can improve if you want to my issue is with your schedule.If your door sign says six a m , it should be open at six a m not at 6:01 AM.

I literally ask if ths orange juice was fresh squeeze. They say yes I pay. Most nasty orange juice ever. Tortas de mole $9 dls without mole. Really bad. Don't even try the tortas.;(

I give it 3 stars. Not because the food or cakes are bad.
But pastels, in my opinion, should be more striking since we people are visual and buy things that look pretty.
An example.
It depends on the flavor of the cake, it should be the color and design.
I was going to buy a tiramisu but it is very simple and almost all of them are there. The chocolate one is pretty.
