Absolutely amazing BBQ! I would travel for this team’s BBQ and you should too. The father started this business years ago and passed it on to his sons who are carrying on the tradition and by all accounts doing him proud.

If you like a lot pepper on your moist brisket, then this place is for you. I spent over $70 on pulled pork and moist brisket. Super rich and fatty. Seasoned to the max. Almost too much. Nothing special to be honest. I felt like I had similar seasoned brisket before. The pickled onions and pickles are a nice break from the moist brisket. I wish the brisket had more smoke flavor. Would I be back? No, but the family who runs it were super nice and friendly

Best Texas BBQ I've had in Los Angeles so far. The employees are also polite and caring. Prices are normal for the quality. Especially the pork ribs are very good. It doesn't have a bad or mediocre product anyway. Everything is either good or very good.

My recent visit to Ray's Texas BBQ in Huntington Park, California, was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I stepped through the doors, the tantalizing aroma of ribs being prepared filled the air, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience. As a seasoned BBQ enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised to discover such an outstanding local gem in the vicinity, reminiscent of the BBQ joints I frequented in Texas. My party of three opted for a delectable mix of half ribs, 1 lb of brisket, and half a pound of pork, and we were not disappointed. The ribs, undoubtedly the star of the show, boasted a delightful pepper-flavored spice and effortlessly fell off the bone with each bite. Accompanied by sides of fresh potato salad and delicious macaroni, every aspect of the meal was a culinary delight.Despite the small size of the venue, with seating for approximately 20-24 guests at small picnic tables, the intimate atmosphere added to the charm of the dining experience. However, it's worth noting that arriving early is essential, as the demand for their delectable BBQ ribs saw them sold out by 1pm during our visit at 12:30pm.The friendly and attentive staff, including helpful recommendations from the manager, further contributed to the positive atmosphere. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest was evident throughout our visit. While the cost may range from $100 to $150 for a meal for four, the quality and authenticity of the food make it a worthwhile investment. Ray's Texas BBQ is undeniably a must-try destination for BBQ aficionados, and I am eagerly anticipating my next visit to savor their mouthwatering offerings once again.

The brisket is really good. Highly recommend getting at least a half-pound of it a la carte.

Food not great. First time trying it and honestly not so good. Ribs have this lemon taste to them or sour I don't like. Mac and cheese could be better I see where the onion comes in place but honestly they can do it better. Their spicy BBQ sauce taste weird. The piece of bread is just a piece of loaf honestly looks like they just threw it there. I believe they can do better.

Its a great restaurant with phenomenal food, but it is a bit expensive. Definitely worth it though. The atmosphere is good but not a lot of space and hard to have a private conversation. Also would recommend getting more than just the brisket sandwich because it will leave you wanting more! Drinks are also pretty pricey fyi.
