From the moment you walk out of your car your smacked in the face with the aroma of open fire cooking! Their meat is the STAR. The tacos are fantastic. Best meat to me was the Arrachera! We also loved the pork belly, pastor and chicken. We had the Anaheim taco too, if you like cheese and Chile this is for you! Hands down some of the best tacos in all of SoCal.

Tried this taco spot for the first time. I ordered ahead for pickup, but when I showed up 20+ minutes later, my food still wasn’t ready. That's okay it happens even though there were not many people, but there were a lot of workers. Too bad that the food itself was the real disappointment and it didn’t sit well with my stomach either

The meat on the papa loca was ground so fine it was barely there, mostly fatty nerves and chewy skin with zero flavor. The cilantro and onions were left outside along with everything else you can put on your dish, but the setup looked very unkept. Also she said that they do put the sauces inside but when the pick up is done by uber and other services alike. The plate was nothing like the ad photos or videos I had seen. They show cream, but mine came without. If they’re storing it out in the open, that’s a major food safety concern.

Worst of all, after eating my stomach started hurting and I felt nauseous and just when I thought I had gotten over the experience then came the explosive D. Also, management should tell their employees that if they are coughing very often they should step away. I mean it was the cashier, but she is the one that gets the drinks, so still.

I am more mad at myself for ignoring all these red flags, there was more things I saw while I was waiting. I even thought about just leaving, but I had already paid. So the real lesson here is to listen to your gut.

Tacos Los Cholos Hp fell short of expectations. While the meat quality was slightly above average for a taco spot, the burrito lacked depth and balance, leaving flavors flat and uninspired. The salsa bar looked neglected and unappetizing, which set the tone for the experience. Overall, it was underwhelming and not a place I’d return to. Not worth coming to HP and risking your life for mid burritos and tacos.

The tacos weren’t warm enough compared to what I was expecting, I heard lots of rave about this place and maybe it was this location in particular but I felt the tacos could’ve been warm off the grill and it felt as if they were sitting and served them that way. The tortilla was a bit stiff as well and this was a surprise as well. The burrito on the other hand was delicious and very warm, the adobada/al pastor was tasty as well. I am impressed with the selection and level of variety of the salsas, so there’s other great aspects of the restaurant! Restrooms were beyond dirty and this was off putting considering the amount of employees that were present! Will give it another shot at the original location.

Top 3 tacos I've ver had... a lil bit on the pricey side but worth it. Agua frescas are on point not being sweet and super cold. Anaheim taco is one of my fav to get here.
