Always spotted this place when I’m in the area and decided to try it. The food took me by surprise. I had the chicken and waffle plate, the chicken and was nice and crunchy and juicy. This place is very hidden and located near the post office of HP. A true hidden place this cafe is. The service was wonderful! Always checking up on us if we were fine and if the food was good. Highly recommend!

This modest, unassuming eatery pleasantly surprised both me & my impossible-to-please Boomer dad. It was a new place for us so we ordered the basics without any expectations. He ordered the Chilaquiles and I the Pancake Combo. Folks, everything about our experience exceeded our expectations. My dad's chilaquiles prompted praise and a smile from a man who rarely does neither. The sauce was clearly homemade & perfectly seasoned. The tortilla chips had a hint of crunch....

A hidden gem in Huntington Park that serves savory food. I had the French toast which comes with a side of eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The food was flavorful! The service was great! The cafe was really clean and it has a nice atmosphere. I will definitely return to The Neighborhood Cafe when I'm around the area.
