While out doing errands in the area, the wifey suggested this restaurant. As I've been to Guadalajara Mexico, I didn't get the chance to eat any tortas there.

So the suggestion was their well known Carnitas Torta combo which comes with one large Torta made with a fresh baked roll and spread lightly refried beans, carnitas, and then poured over with their salsa. Also comes with 2 tacos, we got ours with potatoes inside garnished with cotijo cheese and...

It is the only place I've found that has almost the exact flavor and taste as an authentic torta ahogada from Guadalajara. I have gone back and will continue to go back for it.
