I love this place. The candy is fresh and oh so yummy. I bought salted caramels, milk chocolate turtle and toffee bars all wonderful. I’m not sure what I paid but no regrets. I’m going again.

Cute authentic little candy shoppe with a quaint assortment of sour, sweet, crunchy, chewy, milky, chocolatey, and more! Only thing sweeter than their treats are their people! Great customer service! And OMG cheesecake slices on a stick dipped in semisweet chocolate and then topped with WHATEVER YOU'D LIKE!

Family tradition requires that we visit here every time we are in Idyllwild. Neither rain nor sleet nor storm can keep us away. Yes, even the mountain's Winter snow is not a deterrent. This candy store is a throwback to younger, sweeter days when we all thought we were so funny. We would quote,"Over the teeth, through the gums, look out stomach, here it comes!" Then we'd stuff so much junk in our mouth we'd look like a bunch of chipmunks, and giggle so hard it would all fly out. Oh! You say you didn't do that? So, this teeny tiny shoppe that might accommodate 4-5 customers at best is a treasure trove of modern and vintage candies. But the best things there, IMHO, are their ice cream bars. Custom ordered, your handy dandy, highly skilled, ice cream barista starts with a huge preformed, naked ice cream bar on a popsicle stick. You choose from a list of goodies for dipping and rolling. Mine is always vanilla ice cream, a double dip of dark chocolate that almost instantly freezes as it comes in contact with the liquid chocolate, and a crowning jewel, thick crust of chopped, toasted almonds. Every inch is covered. I guarantee this will make your eyes pop out of their sockets. First bite and the hardened chocolate shatters. The shards of chocolate and almonds are thankfully rescued by the paper boat that the popsicle stick is inserted into. And I confess, I am so greedy, I always forget to take a picture first. We wouldn't want it to melt, now would we? Make sure you grab a spoon to scarf down every delectable bite. And don't forget the napkins! It's annoying, but you must take it outside to eat, or you will get squished by the people in line behind you. Good luck. You're welcome.

Good chocolate but expensive. We bought 1 large turtle and 2 bonbons and we paid almost $20.

This adorable little shop has delicious handmade chocolates. The fudge balls were my favorite, and I wish I had bought more. There was something for everyone in my family to enjoy, and staff was very friendly and efficient.

3 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ as they could work on a few things.1.)Don’t you open on time??? Multiple times now your door is not open when it’s after 11am according to your hours on google.2.) licorice drops and few other candies that are suppose to be chewy are HARD and dry with little flavor.3.) their truffles are a bit overpriced at $6.50/truffleTheir chocolate is great though! It’s creamy and full of flavor and melts in your mouth ?! I love the salted caramel truffle.

I visited this cute candy store that sold hand-dipped ice cream bars 15 years ago and I was beyond happy to find that it's still here, and STILL selling hand-dipped ice cream bars! The quality was exactly how I remembered it. I love how this little town stayed unchanged in over a decade. It felt great to be able to rely on small town charm and relive my sweet memory of this place.I got the vanilla ice cream bar dipped in semi-sweet chocolate. The ice cream bar was overed 1/2 with ground espresso, and Oreo crumbles and 1/2 with salted pretzels and peanut butter. The mixture of crunch and velvety cream were sublime. The combined flavors of salty, bitter and sweet all worked beautifully together without any flavor over powering one another. I was one happy girl!My friend got the shaved ice with guava, mango and tajin. It was the perfect blend of sweetness, savory, acidy and spiciness! No small town visit is complete without a taste of local flavors. That's how fond memories are made. Come here and make your own memories.

Best frozen bananas outside Balboa Island. The toppings include butterfinger, almonds, sprinkles, and more! I also love a good large caramel apple, and there is enough caramel to go with each bite of the apple! They have a wide variety of chocolates and gummies. Prices seem high, about $6 for a frozen banana.

Cute little place to buy yourself a treat! It’s expensive but what mountain gift shop isn’t a bit pricy. I had the dark chocolate honeycomb and dark chocolate almond clusters. Yummy!
