We had a great breakfast here on Sunday. We tried the polish sausage and eggs, which was a cool option instead of breakfast sausage, and they were able to sub hashbrowns for the eggs in the waffle combo with a sausage patty. The hashbrowns were great, the waffle was good, and the sausage patty was very flavorful. Kathy, our server, was super friendly!
We had a party of 7. All the food was delish.
Delicious breakfast and lunch. Large portions. Excellent friendly service. When we stay in Idyllwild we make sure to eat here and we will be back
Foods great, but it’s the people that provide the service that really make this place go.
Solid diner with breakfast and lunch classics. Great service
Fabulous local spot. It's a must visit for us on any trip to Idyllwild - it's a nice little touch of homemade when visiting. The food and service are wonderful every time. There's also a little patio area that is dog friendly in case you'd like to bring your pups.
Food was fine. Pretty run of the mill menu. I had the eggs Benedict and they did not have Canadian bacon, they had grilled deli ham slices. The eggs were not poached. They looked like they were cooked in a muffin tin and the yolks were completely hard. The hollandaise was not terrible but not good.
The service was awful. It felt like we were bothering the staff by ordering our food. No refills were even offered on coffee so it was ice cold by the end of my meal.
I would not recommend this place as anything other than a last resort.
Very bustly atmosphere. Nice rhythm! Clean restrooms. Wheelchair accessible. Megan greeted me with a smile and sat me promptly. Kathy greeted us with a smile and took our order. Exceptional customer service! Food was delicious! Great presentation of food, piping hot and fresh! The Philly cheese steak was very good with the sweet potato fries.
I think I saw the cook use the men's room and not wash her hands. she is gross
I really wanted to give a better review. The food is good. The service was awful. About 5 min after our party of three had been served, the waitress returned with a large group in tow, informed us they would have to move us so they could seat the group, then without waiting for objections grabbed plates and walked off. We had been at a nice outside table overlooking the street. We were shoved unceremoniously into a crappy table in an alley next to a door that was continuously opening and closing. It was appalling.

The food tasted ok, not great, but both our toddler and myself wound up sick after eating here. Could have been better

The chicken fried steak and eggs was phenomenal. The gravy itself was really good so I recommend anything with their gravy on it.

The food and coffee was quite yummy. We sat outside with our two dogs on their little patio. It was nice sharing a meal in the fresh air. They have nice big umbrellas to protect you from the sun and the falling acorns. All the staff were so so friendly and welcoming.

We got sat right away. It was so busy, so we didn't see our waitress many times ans had to ask for drinks from another server. Our food took quite a while, but it was busy so I get it. Overall, it was great! The food was very basic but so yummy! Omelet, country fried steak and the caramel nut roll. So good.
