Not bad but took us about 40min to get ordered food
I stopped by this restaurant because their online menu looked interesting. I had the plant based sandwich and it was amazing 10 out of 10 it had such rich flavor. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but the customers service was overwhelmingly bad. I would have put 1 star but the guy with the tattoos and the beard saved the experience with his kindness, something lacking form the other two employees. The cashier was the worst employee rude and made us feel like outcasts when asked if we were local. Also when asked for a refund for something foreign found in my food he claimed that it was seasoning, my jaw dropped . I hope you take this review seriously because all you need is a caring staff and you got a 5 star restaurant. Because of Stevie I will definitely give this place one more try the food was that amazing.
I wish ı could give 0 star. The prices are outrageous and extremely expensive. One cup off cappuccino 6 usd One small basic regular bakery 7 usd!!! Woooww. I will not go there again!
Delicious sandwiches - perfect spot for lunch! We enjoyed the chicken apple Brie and rueben sandwiches. Good portions and came with a well seasoned side of tots.
I had the breakfast burrito, it was delicious (although a bit spicier than I expected), and with such a nice presentation (came with a skewer of mini-pickles). Highly recommend.
I was so excited to come here! It was on my list of must-go places on our trip to Idyllwild, and our first stop. The food looks and sounds amazing! Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try it and had one of the most uncomfortable, rude experiences in a restaurant in a long time. We waited in line as they took the order of the person in front of us, and then stood at the counter and waited…. There were probably 5-6 people working behind the counter/kitchen in this crowded little place. Literally 2 feet away and not one of them made eye contact. It was like they were purposely ignoring us. We waited several long minutes, giving them the benefit of the doubt of being busy, but then it became obvious that they were just ignoring us on purpose. No, “Sorry just a minute” or “Hold on we’ll get to you.” Just acting like we weren’t there. I can only imagine this was because we were wearing masks?? No one working there was wearing a mask and they seemed to rudely ignore us, the only customers wearing masks. So we finally walked out. I had been so pumped about how cool this place seemed. I couldn’t believe the rude treatment. What a let down.
Lovely addition to Idyllwild's restaurant scene. The breakfast burrito has become a staple.
Absolutely wonderful food and service, I will come here everytime I an in town.
Worst sandwich ever. Totally overrated
There are lots of small town restaurants around the U.S. and we've been to plenty of them. This place ranks right up there at the top of the list. The staff was terrific and friendly, but the food was really something special. We had the Eggs Benedict which was substantially better than what we've been served at some expensive breakfast restaurants. The Pastrami sandwich was likewise wonderful with apple kraut and chipotle thousand island. This restaurant is worth seeking out and worth waiting for if it's busy.

Stevie and Jen are the real deal. First and foremost, they care about the quality of the food served to customers. And do they deliver on that promise. Everything on the menu is first rate. If you live or travel to Idyllwild, make this your first stop....
This sandwich is the best. Fully recommended.I'll name it "the house sandwich"
The food is out of this world! The best food in Idyllwild by far. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food. Each time is about 34 minutes. But the wait is worth it
I had been here before and loved their smoked turkey sandwich, two days ago I orders the eggs Benedict and loved it. The poached egg was to perfect standard of what they should look and taste like. Unfortunately, yesterday I ordered the turkey sandwich and being that I had ordered that meal before I received a sandwich with 3 missing ingredients. It was the focaccia bread, the turkey, and garlic aioli that made up my sandwich. I believe they do deserve a 5 star rating because I have not been let down before, however yesterday I believe clear communication of the missing ingredients would of suffice from the staff so I could change my order. Other than that, I still recommend this restaurant, order ahead they do get quite the clientele.
