By far the most sophisticated wine selection in Idyllwild and some of the best curated natural wine offerings in Southern California. The prices are very reasonable given the remote location. And they love dogs!!!!Most of all, every single person involved in this small, local business is delightful -- from the servers, to the manager, to the fabulous owners. Try the vegan pimento cheese. It's a life changer.

The ambiance is very welcoming and laid back. David was our host and made us feel very welcomed. They have a fantastic selection of natural wines and craft beers from all over the world. We spent our time playing Uno and sipping our drinks. It was a great way to end our day in Idllywild…we look forward to coming back!

This place is completely what you make it out to be. Make sure you are with another person or a group... it will be a lot more fun.Looks larger and more spacious in photos.. it's actually quite a small space with very little seating, couches or loungers.We were able to take our place at the bar... and it was great.. except the staff seamed to be quite bored and low energy.I didn't mind it after coming from Middle Ridge Winery and having an over the top conversation with one of the patrons.At this point I was pretty tired...but I would give The Wine Finch a 2nd chance. Maybe another day will be better for both myself and the staff.

Came here and asked if they were only a wine bar, but they told me they also sell wine by the bottle to go. Unfortunately they sell then at almost the same price as bar price (-10%), which results in grossly overpriced bottles. I ended up getting breaking the bank for their "cheapest" Pinot, which was available 70% cheaper at Whole Foods.
