The Burke Family Restaurant is in the historic Ione Hotel. Very antique looking and very clean. The hand made bread and food was fantastic. I had a chicken pizza backed on handmade sourdough bread...tasted great. The prices are very low for the quality of the food and service. We've eaten there many times and we'll be back.

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. Our waitress, Yusdivia, was polite, prompt, and professional. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, and my wife's chicken and salmon was a tasty treat. All in all, five stars is not enough.

I was disappointed with the food. I haven't been here in years but maybe the chef changed? The risotto was overly salty, broccoli had nothing on them, the garlic herb chicken was bland but ok. The clam chowder was awful...globs of bread, not creamy, very little clam...I've gotten way better chowder from a can. The garlic bread tasted like they used old oil not butter... disappointing. Even the diet coke was flat and not sweet, I ended up getting regular.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my mom's birthday dinner here this evening. It was a warm cozy feel with a super cute and homie vibe. The food and appetizers were fantastic. Everything tasted homemade and the portion size was excellent and the cost was affordable. We will definitely be back and I will definitely refer people. Lastly, the service was great...

loved the piano player in the bar. He's there every Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to 8 pm and knew every Christmas song and standard I requested. The bar and cocktails were enjoyable, and I especially loved the Cajun shrimp appetizers. I had such a great time that I forgot to order my dinner, so I'll be back tomorrow night for a special dinner with my husband. This place deserves a feature on that country backroad show. The service is great, and the friendly locals from the area, who are regulars, add to its charm!

We love the Burke. They have the best good hands down in ione. The staff is super helpful and the food delicious. The soup is homemade and the menu has many options. Cindy and her husband are doing a great job!!!! This place got us thru Covid!!!
Very quaint setting in downtown Ione, nicely appointed inside, excellent service from Kayle. Ordered salad with really good bleu cheese. The chicken Marsala was delicious as was my wife's clam chowder. We look forward to our next visit to this little gem!

Burke's honored Veterans with a free prime rib dinner on Veteran's Day. What an amazing gesture & an incredible meal. My wife order a delicious steak dinner as well. The service was friendly & prompt. We also enjoy their $16 weekly specials. I'm a big fan of their creamy delicious clam chowder. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

This is the hidden gem of Ione!!! Stopped here on a whim, and pleasantly surprised by the value. I had the chicken parmigiana, which was excellent, my wife had the steak salad, which I sampled and everything was fresh. To top it off, I had received a complementary meal on Veterans Day( which I was not aware of before visiting). We will come back for sure!!!!

Used to get delicious prime time dinners and sandwich’s I got charged $83.00 for two sandwich’s?? The Tagore waitress immediately jumped on my case instead of fixing the rip off!! $80.00 for two of the toughest meat I have ever ate that wasn’t prime rib that was shoe sandwich “ The waitresses ALWAYS GET MY ORDER WRONG EVERY TIME I GO THERE !! Time to find another place big time ! I was asked soup or salad I said salad I got greasy cold limp French fries for $40.00 people are totally ripping consumers off and giving garbage don’t waste your time here at all ione ca sucks anyway it’s ground zero for evil ! What’s with the fat woman nasty as all rabid dogs with knee pads on?? Save yourself the money and jaw drops in this city for real !! $40.00 for a greasy tasteless soggy bread sandwich hello not in my world ever again
