Amazing little place! Order their croissant bacon egg and cheese and its amazing! Add somr donuts with a coffee? And you will thank me. Service was good too, and they were quick to make our sandwiches. I will be coming back to this place! Best part was we came in a little late, 1130am and they still had a good amount of donuts to choose from. Most donut places run out of the popular donuts by 9am so we were very happy to still see more donuts available! Will definitely be coming back here when i come to visit family!

2 hot chocolates crippled this business for over 10 minutes. It would have been wise for the cashier to get the full order next time. I am sorry but I have a time limit on my break. Nothing like waiting 10 minutes , not getting a thing to eat or drink AND going back to work late. Thanks Stat Doughnuts.

Ok being a transplant from EG, i recently had a discussion on where to finad a yummy bagel, a worthy bagel near me, in Ione...my sister in-law also a transplant here in Ione has been telling me about this Star donut place in Ione, just 5 min away...but I'm not a donut eater so I didn't check it out. Recently, I noticed the sign says bagels and croissants both of which i do love, so this morning after checking out a jazzercize class, I had my hubby stop and we went inside. He chose his usual everything bagel, I selected the cheddar bagel and we came home. He toasted them up, and made yummy breakfast sandwiches and as I took my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised how fluffy and soft yet toasty the bagel was, omg, I think I'm in bagel heaven ? the croissants also looked ahhhmazingly delish, fresh and fluffy and yes, although I don't really partake in the donut, they looked really fresh and just as yummilicious as well. I love living in Ione, best decision we ever made and discovering new places that are very well deserving of 5 stars with great customer service too!?
