Went with my friends to dublins and the bartender ignored me when it's 5 people(my group of 3, 2 people playing pool, and then the earlier bartender and her boyfriend) I went back to where I was earlier. Taller beers at lower prices. Plus they false advertise a $5.99 fish and chip special.

Graduated from UCSB and came back to Dublin's - and everything about this place still rocks. It feels even nicer than before with some noticeable upgrades. The bartender Dennis is the best too. Love Dublins!!

Great place to play pool, but hardly any food options besides fish n chips and practically zero non alcoholic or "virgin" options. I personally don't drink, so it's pretty anticlimactic for me unless I'm with my girlfriend or any friends. The woman at the bar has always has a weird energy and almost didn't accept my ID once because of my short haircut in the picture and stared at me funny for a good minute lmao. Also, legit nobody sits anywhere but the bar and the vast seating always seems darker for some reason than the rest of the bar. I'd only recommend this place if you're actually going to drink or play pool, but it's a chill vibe nonetheless.

Was visiting UCSB for a group event. The bar abruptly closed and frankly the bartender just started yelling at everyone to leave. One the drinks are weak. Two the staff is less than friendly. I get you cater to college students but regardless of what anyone is, be respectful. We all just dropped a lot of cash at a very crappy bar. Way to loose business for the rest of the week.

This place is just sad. The bartender working the night I came in (Jan 31, 2022) was not welcoming and seemed to be miserable. When someone came to the bar to ask for a whiskey sour he said he couldn't make that for him. Simple drinks are out of his bartending capabilities. Then they asked about shots and he convinced them to get beer instead? I do not see any other customer service jobs in his future. The vibes of this place? More like this is the place where vibes come to die. Bad bartenders seem to be a recurring issue with Dublin's Sports Grill. Disappointed.
My boyfriend planned a random romantic dinner for us here, and it was WONDERFUL! Excellent service, amazing food, and really any table there is great. The Pastor Pork Belly is unreal! Would love to come back.
