I recently tried the vegan italian sandwich and it was crazy big. It was stuffed with different vegan deli slices that are always expensive to obtain. Highly recommend.

Went here 10 years ago, had a blast, great parking and they had very good espresso shots. Told my mate Sanjay Bennett about this place and he said that he will pop by and get some food and sit on the beach where he will be throwing it at jellyfish

Local legend in the UCSB community, I’ve been here multiple times. I have tried the Teriyaki Chicken Cheese Fries (Crispy French Fries, Grilled or Crispy Chicken, Shredded Cheese, Smothered w/ Teriyaki Sauce, & House Made Spicy Mayo), the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Fries. It was pretty good, a little too much buffalo sauce towards the end but still good. I have also tried the Dirty Andrew Fries (Crispy French Fries, House Made Chorizo, Grilled Onions, Shredded Cheese, Topped w/ House Made Ranch). My favorite out of the three were the Teriyaki Chicken Fries.
Honey chicken sandwich was so good, it's at least a footlong sub style sandwich that's full of food so even if $13 seems like a lot it's so worth it, especially compared to somewhere like subway. All the regular convenience store items are, however, really expensive, and you could probably find those things cheaper just about anywhere else.

There are a few options for pasta plates, sandwiches, burritos and fries but vegan replacements for cheese and meat cost extra, which is annoying. It's mainly fast food/ comfort food. You order at the register (the deli mart is a store that also has a kitchen for food preparation). There are a few tables for outdoor seating.
The menu is written on the wall / board outside, but without prices. You have to ask about prices. Some of the wording is slightly ambiguous, ie "veggie chicken" - it is vegan, but I asked, since some of the dishes are marked vegan and some are marked as veggie.
The buffalo veggie chicken fries I ordered, I asked to be made vegan, usually it's served with ranch and cheese. I asked for vegan cheese instead (doesn't melt very well, but they did it because I requested it). It's very filling, and the vegan buffalo chicken is good. However the vegan options here are expensive for what they are (fast food).
I think vegan chicken is $3 extra and vegan cheese is $2 extra which makes the fries cost $15, ie 50% more expensive than the non vegan option. That costs a lot for fries in my opinion. I wouldn't come here every day but it's good if you want something fast and filling.

Breakfast burritos and a Turkey sub are my experiences and did not like either one. Both times I was there food was gross. Cashier lady is super sweet. Place is clean. A fun variety of merchandise to browse.My lips would have rather been touched by the awesome items In Their jewelry case dedicated to Mary Jane's useful tools and toys. ?
The deli food is good. The sandwiches are definitely a bang for your buck. However the line takes forever since it's usually only one working register and the food can take a very long time.Also the snacks are overpriced, but there are no price tags. You only know at the register. I think I was charged $7 for a pack of Oreos and $6.50 for Pringles, if I recall correctly.

Average food, high price, but seriously, what's with the wait time? Just the other day I waited 30 minutes while there were NO ONE ELSE IN FRONT OF ME! Hire more or better chefs????????????
