Wish i could give half a star . Incredibly unsanitary work environment, Ive spoke to multiple people who have had bad experiences and those who have worked there. If you are vegan don’t eat here because it will be cross contaminated. They are scamming students with freezer bought food , Go to super cucas instead .
They have a deal for ghosts 2/6 - great deal
When you come to the quaint beachside village of Isla Vista, you expect the flavors of fresh ceviche, an ice cold chelada, and the sweet nectar of tropical fruits. I.V. Deli Mart takes its own neomodernpostclassicalabstractionist culinary spin on what flavors flourish best under the salty Pacific sun. Unequivocally, the crown jewel of the deli mart is a sandwich thoughtfully-named the “Fat Gaucho.” 12 inches of finely-cured pastrami, intricately-breaded sticks of mozzarella, the timelessness of southern buttermilk-fried free range chicken, crispy pommes frites, and gloriously caramelized onions blend into a transcendent celebration of flavor. While the whispers of gulls and waves remind you of your Pacific proximity, the air of the Fat Gaucho will transport to you to a cookout with family and friends under a rain of golden leaves on a southern Autumn evening. I write this moments after savoring the final warm bite of a F.G., basking in an everlasting gastronomic daze.

Iv deli is so good. Love the big drink selection, especially after midnight when nowhere else is open. Ryan is very helpful
Great service! Love IV deli’s snacks
amazing food and service! the crispy chicken wraps are my favorite and flynn was a super sweet cashier! ❤️
I love IV deli it has delicious meals and all the groceries you need. It’s so convenient and their service is so nice, especially Heidi! Their mac and cheese is the best with house made cheese sauce! Follow @ivdelimart for more
Love the food and vibes here! 😁- B
I recently tried the vegan italian sandwich and it was crazy big. It was stuffed with different vegan deli slices that are always expensive to obtain. Highly recommend.

The food here is a joke. Now I understand why Elliot Rodger shot this place up!

Went here 10 years ago, had a blast, great parking and they had very good espresso shots. Told my mate Sanjay Bennett about this place and he said that he will pop by and get some food and sit on the beach where he will be throwing it at jellyfish

Local legend in the UCSB community, I’ve been here multiple times. I have tried the Teriyaki Chicken Cheese Fries (Crispy French Fries, Grilled or Crispy Chicken, Shredded Cheese, Smothered w/ Teriyaki Sauce, & House Made Spicy Mayo), the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Fries. It was pretty good, a little too much buffalo sauce towards the end but still good. I have also tried the Dirty Andrew Fries (Crispy French Fries, House Made Chorizo, Grilled Onions, Shredded Cheese, Topped w/ House Made Ranch). My favorite out of the three were the Teriyaki Chicken Fries.

Honey chicken sandwich was so good, it's at least a footlong sub style sandwich that's full of food so even if $13 seems like a lot it's so worth it, especially compared to somewhere like subway. All the regular convenience store items are, however, really expensive, and you could probably find those things cheaper just about anywhere else.
