Overpriced, tiny portions, missing items from my order, and the ceviche isn't good at all

I’m not sure if I can call this a Poke Bowl. The fish is obviously frozen, bland and old. The crab is pretty good and so is the rice, but the combination of flavor is completely off. Nothing that represents that flavor of Hawaii. If your drunk and hungry late at night, this is the place to go. If you’re looking for a great meal to truly enjoy, go somewhere else. Service was impeccable tho, especially for late at night!

Went in there to pick up an order for somebody. Took the guy at least 25 minutes. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. Really slow. I thought maybe he was sort of remedial at best. I was patient. The blond headed guy with the tattoos. Asked a questions, being nice. He started randomly yelling at me. Insulting. Told him, hope he has a better day. Actually tipped him. Was weird. Then I calmly left. Very odd and very weird. He was having a full on melt down. No control. A full on tantrum. He got mad and threw something at me as I was walking out the door. Think about that. Their employee actually through something at a customer's back. He also called me the "F"-word. Reported this the next day to the manager. He didn't care. Just stands out front smoking. Told him there is video of it. His eyes glazed over. They don't actually have the videos recording there. Don't eat here. The food is gross and people do get sick from it. Hoping Isla Vista can get a better place than this on the corner.

Wow this is one of the best poke I’ve ever had! I’m super impressed! The decorations inside is beautiful. I couldn’t stop looking at the colored balls above! When we went in to pick up our order, the person working didn’t know we were there so we waiting for awhile until I finally yelled out to them in the back lol. I don’t like waiting around. I got their slushy and it was really good! I definitely recommend this place! The fish is so fresh and so delicious. I’m sad I didn’t get to go the last time I went to Santa Barbara. I’m craving it now. Until next time :)Parking: Street parking

Went in to store and the person who was serving was very rude. Started yelling at customers to get their attention and did not come off polite at all. Everyone in the location looked at him in shock. I preceded to get my order which as he was taking he was rude the entire time. I asked him if you could give me a bit extra of the crab salad and told me I had to pay extra for. Which would not have been a big deal if he wouldn’t have been rude and would not have said if they never have charged you we are today. I said damn in all the time eating here that’s the first but it’s fine. preceded to then tell me that he was the manager and he would know and that that was that. He made it very clear that he did not want to be there. To be honest seeing a manager do that gave a horrible impression and gave horrible service. Surprised he was happy with saying he was the manager especially considering his ugly attitude.

Not really good. I also paid $20 for just tofu as my protein and i received no tofu at all. I tried calling multiple times with no answer. Biggest waste of my money.

I really want this place to close it's so awful and a disgrace to poke. Bad fish. The spicy mayo is a**
expensive for a tiny portion that didn't taste great. save your money and go to a different poke spot.

I went here recently and had one of their Poke Ceviche bowls. It was just ok. There is a better one in the shopping center near storke rd by kyle's kitchen. That one is much better, but it's a further drive from Isla Vista. I probably would come back to this place again because its close. You should at least check them out.

As a 36 year resident of Isla Vista I've seen a lot of eateries come & go. Survivability here is a function of many factors, but having a great product, service & atmosphere are the key components & I'm here to say Pokeceviche has ALL those components in place.Will & Christian, as well as other staff do a great job at making the customers happy w/ a great attitude & it doesn't seem as if they're going out of their way, it's just how they are. Awesome people!The food, always great, never a let down in terms of freshness, flavor & variety, even though I usually stick w/ my own "formula" for a bowl, I'm starting to think about branching out to other options.The place is always clean & tidy, the service is fast & friendly & the best part (for me personally)... just around the corner!The location of Pokeceviche is excellent too, especially if you're coming back from class, not a bad place to stop at & get lunch or dinner.In all, Pokeceviche is a great eatery here in Isla Vista & the way it's managed & operated will secure it's presence in our community for a long time to come!
