Hidden gem with an opium den. Huff said... But really, this place is one of a kind in all the right ways. Tucked away in what feels like an old Chinese camp ghost town lives a beer bar with an opium den, a constantly rotating tap list, addictive popcorn, and an owner just as fun as the vibe this place has. Other beer bars need to come here and take note. This is how you do it. This place might MIGHT just put Isleton on the map as a must see beer destination. Dog friendly to boot!

Iva has a GREAT place, with tons of character, warm hospitality, and a great history. Stop in, have a drink, and enjoy a conversation and maybe even some time in the historic opium den!

If you like funky out of the way bars with great beer, you need to stop here. They don't have good (other than popcorn) but they allow you to bring it in. There are a few raised tables and seating at the bar.

This is a great tap room. It's got a unique feel and an excellent taplist. The employee was fantastic in our experience as well. They are also pet friendly, and even have dog biscuits for your furry friends. Also free popcorn :) We'll definitely be back.

We visit this bar once in a while for the live music and great beer selections. It has an interesting atmosphere with a throw back to an Opium Den in a small Chinese corner of Isleton. They do have some bar snacks.

I really liked this cool little place. They had more sours than most pibs I've been. My first time but not my last. I got the flight of cider and sours. It was yummy!!

I've been here 3 times now. My bride and I are borderline beer snobs, only I love IPA, she hates them, but loves sours and I hate them. This is without question the best tap room in the Bay Area. Without a doubt. No TVs, no WiFi, no BS, just cold taps and the company you keep. Shared 4 flights with my bride, sandwiches from the McBoodery, and lost at cribbage. Iva is awesome and deserves all the credit for creating such an epic spot.

Great place!!!! We were staying in town and had planned on visiting this beer room. So glad we did! Iva is wonderful and welcoming and very personable! Nick was as well.Iva is very knowledgeable with the products she offers( and she offers quite a few!) and myself not being much of a beer connoisseur she offered samplings of a few things to try. I loved the elderberry kombucha and raspberry kombucha mixed with Nitro Cali cream. Imagine a 50/50 bar/ creamsicle......Yum!!!! We met some very nice people there who live in town and offered suggestions on where to go and what to see. We definitely hope to be back. Thanks Iva!!

Always amazing service and I love the rotating selection of beers. They have some bar snacks and always have fresh popcorn but they let you bring in food (some amazing local selections). Love the owner and she provides great recommendations. Always a great time!!

Historic opium den turned craft beer pour house serving cold pints of local brews from around California.Decor is a mix of news articles from the building's heyday and themed replicas. The table tops are a nice touch of smaller trying nkets set in epoxy.Kids are allowed, but not at the bar. Mind the gong on your way in, and don't miss the beer-to-go on your way out ?
