Best energy and service! Dan is the man, he understand what you want and offers extra toppings suggesting his personal favorites. We stayed at the hotel across the way but had to try his wraps, glad we did!

Okay, I NEVER review places. But my husband and I just finished our lunch here and I’m shook at how good the food was. Danny was so kind and generous. Not only did the food slap, Danny so graciously took the time to share some local gems for us to check out. If you are ever in the area please add this to your list because this deli will not disappoint. You just don’t find food and service like this everyday. And yes, there were vegetarian options!

Owner (Danny) doesn't just collect the cash. Danny actually makes the sandwiches and everything else on the menú from regular to Awesome. Alongside Danny you have his sidekick Patrick who works fast so that we spend more time eating our food vs drooling for it. I live pretty far from them, but the trip is worth it.
By the way, if he recommends you something different from your order, don't say "how dare you", feel blessed and say "hell yeah". You won't regret it like myself when he offered me the tuna wrap on tomato wrap with a touch of "Jacume Style". Sorry for not posting it but it looked and tasted so good, you forget to take the pic.

So, Danny's Deli is like this awesome place in the middle of nowhere. We had a pastrami and a T.B.A wrap, and they were both super tasty and fresh.

We had a great pastrami sandwich made by Danny himself. But the whole vibe was just the best!!!

We actually just went in to the market to look around. We were lucky enough to find the best Jacumba information guide in town. Super genuinely friendly and informative. Danny knows where those secret spots to visit in and around Jacumba.

We are definitely going to be back to try another great sandwich and for sure to get more tips from Danny. If you go to his deli and it happens to be closed, we kidnapped him as our tour guide.

Again, great sandwiches, New York style,, you will love it there!!!

There's close to nothing out here in the mountains but this is a place to visit. Come hungry cause the portions are very large and delicious. It was so pleasant to be greeted by welcoming smiles and friendly staff. We were acknowledged right away and were treated so well the entire time. My daughter and I ordered sandwiches and were happily surprised by a choice of side salads (potato/macaroni). We were informed about the town and up coming plans. This is a place to drop in and have a meal, take it to go, or eat outside on the tables like we did. It was a wonderful choice. We also were treated to a taste of their yummy thin crust pizza and heavenly creamy authentic cheese cake. 10 out of 10! I highly recommend. It's well prized, delicious food, fresh ingredients, large portions, came along with silverware, napkins, and the clean tables outside with shades were a plus!
