The rooms are old, run down. The hot dprings are very low, like for kids, you have to lay down in order for your body to be covered. I was supposed to get a refund because there were problems, such as the tub was dirty in our room. The restaurant closes early so you can't dine in peace without being told it's going to close early. The food is decent but appears over priced. I tried calling after we left a few days later, NOBODY answers the Damn phone ! NOBODY appears to be in charge, running the place or has the Leadership to return calls. The phone rings for days !
Seriously AMAZING! Diamond in the rough. Incredible attention to detail! The night soak among the starts and the fire pits in the quiet dessert. I think 2 nights would have been perfect. Definitely did not want to leave. Everyone was so friendly. People from all over. It’s definitely a vibe. What a great experience
The only place with a vibe in California!!!
The pool was amazing very relaxing. Great music amazing staff.
Besides the mineral pools i love this place the ambience but the music needs a little help. I love the food and service although after 6PM no food service. We had a half day pass and got there at 7PM. Love the healing waters and will be back again.
I have to say that my stay at jacumba hot spring had its good and bads, this isnte the first time ive stay here, ive been here in the past and had a better experience
First with the good the place is clean, Jacuzzi is great, the rooms are cozy, people are great they come from all over, i spoke with some of the overnighters, most where from san diego. The bar is great have great drinks, its just a little dark, maybe they could brighten it up just a little bit cause you cant see people faces, it hard to focus cause its so dark. The bads of this place is main pool for overnights, i took a quick dip cause soon as i got into the pool i quickly got out it smelled horribly, ive been to alot of spa resorts and never experienced this aweful smell coming out of the pool, i didn't get back in i was afraid to get some kinda bacteria infection you cant miss the awful smell. they need to keep up with the cleaningness of the pool. Hope they will check it out. The main patio where u can sit and order food from the main kitchen the menu was not that exciting i ordered the mac and chesse it was horrible i had the waiter take it back, you can see that they have signs posted ( no outside food) but im sorry i went across the way to the liquor store and grab me a turkey sandwich which was amazing great. On the day of check out i had no electricity and no one from there staff bothered to come around to explain to us why there was no electricity, that was disappointing, you dont see much of the staff at all. They have no phones in the room in case you need to call the front desk, no microwave cause they want you to order from the facility but here are some suggestions for the new menu nachos, tacos, chili bowl, fries, onion rings, varity of burgers, zucchini, variety of salads, ceaser, chicken, fruit salad, 2 chooses of soups, more variety of soft drinks, steak fajitas, keep it simple, cause the menu you have doesnte fit the facility
What a special place and amazing experience! We had a girls' trip to celebrate my friend's 60th birthday. They've built something magical, and I highly recommend it.
Very nice staff and a perfect bar. Would be five stars if they’d accommodate bringing dogs, like The Good House in Desert Hot Springs. Even accommodating in terms of offering information for a local boarding option would make for top notch customer service than flat out “No dogs” policy for a location that for some people is a stop on a road trip than a destination.
The highlights about jacumba are the swimming pools, and the nice hot Jacuzzi. the rooms are fantastic clean, cozy, the bar is great also nice menu, but you could brighten it up a little it too dark can't see people's faces, place is clean, staff is great, nice quite, place to relax, now the downside is the main menu. I ordered the Mac and cheese that was horrible, the burger was ok. you need to have a better menu for outside in pa dinner maybe have some nachos, tacos, tostada, rice, keep the fries, and have a variety of burgers, and more variety of soft drinks, 2 variety of soups, and salad need to change it also keep it simple Cesar salad, fruit salad. veggie tray.
Gorgeous place w the staff still maybe getting its footing. Waiter didn't know the menu well and forgot to check on us after serving. Overall beautiful setting and good food in the way to great.

Incredible experience at JHSH.
We soaked in the springs during a windy gloomy day.
The poolside menu options were incredible as well as the drinks. I loved having such an abundance of options! The ordering system is super easy - QR code on the side of the chair. They’ll only deliver to your chair so be mindful of that. 🫶🏼
The space has components of other places such as a “ACE Hotel Palm Springs meets Joshua Tree” vibe.
Showers and lockers were stunning and well stocked with high quality soaps, shampoos, and conditioners.
We will 100% be back!
Had brunch at the restaurant although my dish (the wedge) wasn’t great my partner had the carnitas tacos which I thought were pretty good… I still want to go back for the pool and maybe book a room. It’s a little expensive in my opinion but I’m down to give it another try, also the bathroom was dirty should probably be cleaned for the price they asking for. I’ll be back though to see the rest . Staff was great
What an excellent experience! My wife and I just celebrated our one year anniversary here. Food was exceptional and vibe was amazing. Best part was that there are NO TV’s on the campus. Don’t ruin the vibe by getting TV’s!
One of the best meals I've had in a long time! Ambiance is extra beautiful. Our server Colton was lovely, attentive and made excellent menu recommendations! We had breakfast the next morning and it was even better! At a time when a lot of restaurants are cutting corners and charging more, Long Shadow was a breath of fresh air. Great value, delicious food and no cut corners.
The best experience I've had at a dinner, excellent food, quality, taste and price, as well as the attention from the bar staff, thanks to the attention of the bartenders for making us feel at home, and the Mixology drinks were the best.
