So sad about the closure. Staff was always so attentive and the food and salsas were amazing. We will definitely miss patronizing this location.

We were looking for somewhere to eat after my sons soccer game. We stumbled upon this restaurant and we were so pleased! Great food, excellent service and cute atmosphere!

I've seen a couple of comments on here about an older waitress not only being rude to customers but also their own employees. I don't know if it the same waitress but I have definitely seen an older waitress being extremely rude to their younger waiters a few weeks ago IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS. If management cannot create a safe work environment for all their employees, then they should not expect their customers to believe their restaurant is a safe environment for them to eat at.

My friend and I decided to try out this restaurant and unfortunately it doesn't matter how good your food is if you have rude and inconsiderate staff. When we visited last Sunday we witnessed an older waitress berate a younger waiter in front of customers. It was extremely uncomfortable and based on other reviews this older waitress has a habit of being very rude. If there is an issue, then it should be discussed calmly and in private, not to be screamed while customers are present. Hopefully management will have a talk with this particular employee, because they shouldn't be allowed to speak to another employee like that.

First time trying this place. ? I had chilaquiles verdes with carne asada, beans and potatoes. It was delicious!!! The carne asada was a bit dry but everything else was so good! Can’t wait to go back and try more. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this restaurant.

Great food, horrible customer service. I ordered over the phone and was told 20 mins. I got there 25 mins later and waited another 40 mins only to find out no one was making my order. So I just left. I wasn’t gonna make another hour. The staff are very unfriendly too. They seemed annoyed when I asked for status of my order. This wasn’t the first time I had to wait a long time.

Great food, great service and cozy place to sit down and enjoy your meal. I ordered chilaquiles tapatios with chile verde. Very good! I also gave the tacos de barbacoa a shot and they were very good. I will definitely return to try more. Thanks Casa Diaz for a great and peaceful experience!

Good Mexican food. What else can I say. I have eaten here many times, not been disappointed. If you order shrimp cocktail... it comes in a shell.

Sucks because I love the food. But the older lady who works here is EXTREMELY rude. They forgot to give us our to go order while we were dining in and I take partial at fault because we left when they brought us our ticket and didn't think about it. I called and let them know in a very non rude manner because I know how it is to work in the food industry. I explained the situation to the woman on the phone, they found my ticket and we get to the place and the lady comes at me like they gave me two carne en su Jugos for dine in, which wasn't the case. I told her to check the cameras. I have NO problem paying for one, or supporting this business but everything she did was uncalled for and didn't even try to hear me out when I told her that regardless what the "receipt" says, 1 carne en su jugo was dine in and the other was to go, and we only received 1 and paid for two. She didn't understand and was EXTREMELY RUDE.

On their bright and festive menu brochures, Casa Diaz welcomes guests with a pledge- "Mexican food like no other." While my beautiful bride and I were in the area today, we dropped in for a late morning breakfast, Mexican style. Leti was intrigued by their trademark Choriquiles (chilaquiles served w/ skillet fried chorizo) but ultimately selected their chilaquiles. I went w/ a breakfast burrito and paid extra for house potatoes + bacon. Pros? Casa Diaz sparkles with it's cozy, warm environment. The service is super efficient (despite a near full house -at 11am a MON morning- our entrees came out so fast both plates had smoke trailing off've em. And the staff is welcoming and very professional. Bravo! Con? Only one. And I don't wanna come off as mean, but the food was....only alright. Both of us nodded to each other regarding the plain, even pedestrian flavor of our meals. The restrooms were clean + well stocked. Five stars for service, four for decor and value for price and a two for the bland taste of our cuisine. Judging from the crowded space (when we walked in, six of their eight booths were occupied) Casa Diaz is popular w/ the local residents. Perhaps we ordered the wrong dish or something...but we're not buying that their food is like no other.

Honestly this is a long awaited review. We've been ordering and dining in here for a couple years. It's absolutely amazing food. Everything is consistent and well made. Creative without breaking traditional tastes. Top notch and well worth visiting.
