I've been to the Anaheim location so tried Fullerton this time. It's just as good as Anaheim, but with less seating. Interior is nicely set up - you order and they being your order to you. The line can get long, but does go quickly. Things tried:- tacos aranchara (skirt steak) + pork belly + filet: it's my perfect trio of tacos. - cholo pizza with aranchara: first time trying it and it won't be my last times. It's basically a giant quesadilla with meat + sauce + guac on top. It's a perfect dish to share with a group. All in all another solid taco joint. Highly recommend.

Came here on a Monday night and it was pretty busy. The wait to order and wait to receive our food took about 25 minutes. The food was really good, I love how they cook their meats, and they give a generous amount of meat as well, which not many places do. I tried their chicken tacos, a chicken, Mulita, and a Asada Mulita since everything was so bombed. Not to mention, their sauces/salsa were really good as well, and I don't see that from any places. We'll definitely be back again to dine-in since it's a cool little spot

Great food, great service! Clean dining area and friendly staff. I've been multiple times and always have a great experience. Be advised that they are very popular (for good reason!) and they cook your food fresh to order, so often-times there is going to be a decent-sized line of patrons. Don't let that stop you from checking this place out! They also have another location in Anaheim on City Drive, also close to Lincoln with a bit more seating and outside dining tables available.

Food: Delicious tacos except it is kind of on the pricey side however they do give a generous meal option and the burrito is huge! Service: quick and simple; ordered and get a table

Tacos Los Cholos has popped off, I've come to this location for maybe the past two years but today by far was the busiest I've seen. There was two queues for togo pickup and dine in and they both stretched out the doorway for crying out loud. Considering the sheer volume of orders and customers, the staff was very friendly and efficient.Me and my buddy had a Papas Loka and 4 tacos each. Asada, Adobada, Chorizo, and Tripas, I come to TLC specifically for their tripas that they do so well. The papas loka has so many toppings you're almost left wishing for more potato. The reason for the loss of a star was that my hostess and I forgot to get my horchata, I ended up getting it at the end of my meal when I realized I was so thirsty. On top of that, perhaps due to the rush, but our meat was burnt. I don't mind a little char, in fact I can say I appreciate a little extra flavor this way. But this time the peppers and meats were beyond "flavored", so much so that the chorizo had bites of bitter and crunched.P.S. the salsas are amazing, the chimichurri and mango habanero are my go tos and they'll really take your meal to new heights. Make sure to respect the heat of the habanero chilis though, they're no joke and you'll be left stinging and humbled.

It's not a Mom and Pop Mexican restaurant, but boy, oh boy, is it really great. There are only two location at the present time, and I would dare to say, I might drive the 26 miles from my home just to have their food. Apparently, others feel that way, too. Within minutes of opening at 11:00 (ha, we were first in line), the line went out the door and remained steady. That good! The 5-stars I give, and by far the best thing we tried, was for the ribeye meat in the form of Papa Loka (a huge, stuffed potato covered with cheese and meat, to which we added guacamole topping for an upcharge). The price for this prime meat topping will set you back considerably, but as an afterthought, it was worth every penny. This was beautifully seasoned and grilled perfectly to a medium rare as requested. This is the kind of meat that will melt in your mouth. As consolation for laying down the 19 smackeroos, the serving size is so huge, you can either share or wisely bring a large chunk home for at least one more equally orgasmic experience. So just do it!They have many other choices that are less pricy. For instance, the Adobada taco which came with small chunks of grilled pineapple rang up at $2.25. It was a good choice. It came on a street-taco-sized tortilla with a huge pile of meat that overflowed on the tortilla. Not a spicy, al pastor seasoned meat, but similar. Next was a Mulita filled with Arrachera, grilled flap meat (?), chopped in cubes, and engulfed in melted white cheese, $8. This, too, was seasoned beautifully, and I defiantly say there is no such thing as too much cheese! These were both delicious and very generous...but the ribeye had already spoiled me.Lastly, we thought we had ordered a Costilla de Res (Short rib) taco, but apparently, our voices were lost in all the hub bub. What was brought to our table was one flat slice of meat on a tortilla. Our bill said we had ordered the Cecina meat (brisket) instead. Nope. And not nearly as tasty as the others. Very lean. Disappointing. And now I know to check my bill closer. If only this was closer....

Came on a Saturday evening. The location is great in a large business center plenty of parking. There was a long wait to order and the whole time I was there the line was out the door. Finding a place to sit inside is tough at times too since it's so busy and there's no one regulating the seats so you just have to run and grab a table (everyone for themselves). The table is dirty too you had to clean it yourself or flag down a worker and ask for it to be cleaned. I ordered an asada papa loka (baked potato with toppings) & 3 regular tacos chorizo, asada, and adobada. I wanted to try tripas but the didn't have any. Their prime meats (ribeye & filet migon) were just way too pricey I could not justify that purchase and I'm glad I did not order them. All of the food came out just warm and the meats had grilled charred flavor but no other flavor as in I don't think the meats were marinated or anything it just tasted like grill/char. The tacos and papa loka needed a lot of salt and luckily they had a lot of packets of salt. The salsa did not help add flavor it just added a little sour or spicy kick. They have an open salsa bar and a lot of different salsas but non were labeled so I'm not sure what they were. Due to the lack of flavors I'm glad I didn't get prime meats. The tacos were small & street taco size pilled with lots of meat. Each taco plates comes with 1 grilled chili. You can also ask for bulbs of grilled onion. The chorizo one was my favorite it had the most texture. The papa loka was good it had sour cream, cheese, and asada I added guac for an extra charge. I just wish there was more sour cream and that it was more spread out the sour cream was under the grilled cheese so it was hard to see where it was and I ate it all not knowing it was only on one side. The restroom was big but it wasn't very clean but I had to wash my hands after eating messy tacos so I'm glad they had a restroom at all. If you enjoy grilled flavored meat come here and just be ready to wait and grab salt packets for the food (next to salsa bar).

I had heard good things about Tacos Los Cholos and it definitely did not disappoint. We came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and there was a small line but it moved quickly. They have a wide variety of meat choices broken down into three categories: Regular, Premium, and Prime. I wanted to try at least one from each category so we ultimately decided on an Asada Taco (regular - $2.25) Adobada Taco (regular - $2.25) Filet Mignon Taco (prime - $6.95), Pollo Quesadilla (regular - $7.00), and an Arrachera Burrito (premium - $13.50).The food came out within 10 minutes and everything was delicious, especially the filet mignon taco! The meat was so tender and the portion size was pretty generous too! The chicken in the quesadilla was slightly on the drier side so I'm not sure I'd order the pollo again, but you can't go wrong with anything else! Everything was made even better with some heat from their fresh salsas too.The restaurant isn't huge but there is a decent amount of indoor seating available. The restaurant felt fairly clean with an urban feel.

Hands-down, this is my favorite spot to appease my burrito and taco cravings. I've also snagged burritos for my brother from time to time after work, and it always hits the spot. This place is top notch not only in the generous food portions they give you, but the prices are beyond reasonable and affordable, which is rare in this economy.I stumbled across this gem from a coworker. I have tried both locations in Anaheim and Fullerton, but I prefer to go to this location due to its convenience. While the lines, get quite long, it moves along fast. Everyone working in the restaurant is extremely personable and kind, and they make a tremendous effort to bring out your order hot from the kitchen as quickly as possible. I can't say enough good things about this place, and even if it were an hour drive from me, I would still make the trek to indulge in these delicious meals.

(Playing in your head) "Lean like a chili, side to side ...". That's how I'm walking out this joint. Channeled my inner foodie cholo. I have wanted to try this place for so long, the expectations were super high. They did not disappoint. After church lunch. CHOLO pizza with carne asada and chorizo was very tasty and super umami. So much meat that 2 slices filled me up. Imagine a stacked quesadilla, no cheese but the chorizo sandwiches in between to 12" flour tortillas with the carne asada on top. Add some guacamole and your choice of salsa from the salsa bar, onions and chorizo and you get "fire"! Mucho delicioso. For dessert, a carne Asato taco. How else to you judge a taco place? Solid, on point. Not dry, tender and flavorful. Bien Hecho.Hasta La vista amigos.
