I stopped by Studebakers Deli in Kelseyville, California, on Saturday during a ride around Clear Lake. As I arrived at 3:00pm there was no one else in the deli , just the 3 employees. The main dining area was already being cleaned and was closed. Of course, there was no wait as I ordered the Hudson sandwich that was offered on their menu board. The sandwich was disappointing, the bread was small and dry, there was only a little mayonnaise spead on the sandwich and no mustard...
I came up to Lake County just to see for myself, to say the area is hard hit is putting it mildly. A lot of people are struggling just to get by, so come on up to the lake and utilize the services and help out the local mom & pop operations, they put out some Amazing things, and that's exactly why I pulled into Studebakers for a screaming good deli sandwich. ☆☆☆☆☆
My first time to eat here. The sunny burrito was really good. The coffee was good. The help not so much. Aloof and not engaged at all. I believe they thought I had been there before
