I love chicken pot pie. I do not like puff pastry. I ordered the rather over priced chicken pot pie hoping for a treat. It arrive topped with puff pastry and filled with a tasty sauce containing lots veg and what appeared to be masticated chicken. I was disappointed.

Holy crap! Are you kidding me? We had the best time, here. No expectations. Came here with No Reservations and got seated after one drink at the bar. It was our anniversary celebration weekend and so it was pretty special that we got in. But we got an awesome seat by a window that overlooked the river. Wow!! Sunset. Killer food and drink and service. A treat!

This food is blowing my mind. The pot pie lured us in and was PERFECT, we were strongly impelled to try the filet mignon sliders (very wow) and the fried cheese curds (the texture so good I weep). Beyond impressed with everything. I want to live inside this meal for a very long time.

I had gone with my family to celebrate my mom's birthday and we had a delightful experience all the way through! The team members were very welcoming and the food is just exemplary. They made some of the best steak and pasta I have ever had, and I highly recommend anyone to give it a try. The atmosphere and ambiance of the resturant is perfect for the area, and the view of the river is breathtaking.
My personal favorite items were the Cheese Curds, Ribeye, and Penne Pasta dish. If you are in the area, Ewings has to be on your list to dine at!

This is the place to enjoy some great food and drinks with an amazing view. If you are in Kernville, you must visit. My wife ordered the whiskey sour, and I had the 24 kt gold fashioned, and both were tasty. The tri tip flat bread was a little on the small side but definitely had great flavor and a decent amount of beef. We really enjoyed the patio seating overlooking the river and mountains as the sunset created a scene from a postcard.
