The owner was refusing my id and not letting us in. He wouldn’t give a reason just saying I’m not serving you, and was calling us names when we would ask why. NEVER GO HERE WORST PLACE!!!!

Quaint little dive on the main drag through Kernville. The parking lot is tiny. They have a stage and live music a few times per year. Used to have a nice house band that kept the place popping until one of the members flew the coup and they dissolved. The bartender was friendly and talkative. The owner has put the place up for sale in case you're interested in owning such a gem.

I told him , "this is the kind of place where you wanna take your shirt off" He replied " this is not that kinda place" I replied what if the girls wanna go topless. This was a place to be 20 years ago when I first moved up here super bands Rock always great drinks meet new people no fighting no arguing no hating girls got dressed up dance floor was busy bumping to the music and the drinks were strong in the most important part was never followed home by the police good thing I'd have to jump out of the car run home and Report the car stolen LOL

The Hut has proper pours, poured right in front of you, and the prices are cheaper than the other bars in town. Best of all, no attitude and friendly staff. The Kernville Saloon is good as well. Avoid the Sportsman.

This place was absolutely awesome short and sweet. Great food great service clean environment sushi and seafood dishes were great

Came here last night and no social distance, local town lady bar flies were drunk and annoying, talking about how crappy the town was. It made me not want to return to kernville or the hut. Bartender guy was not friendly at all and it reeked of cigarette smoke inside. If you're camping at the camp sites it's better off you stay there the locals are not welcoming to visitors. Also THE HUT DESPERATELY NEEDS A BAR RESCUE!
