A+ brewpub. Good tasting beers and some delicious, unique menu items. The server we had was also friendly and great. They really are doing it right.

Excellent craft beer, especially the IPAs. The food is much better than you'd expect from a beer place. Like many well curated microbreweries, KRBC has top-notch bar food. Not just greasy burgers, wings and fries. Real food for folks who've been camping, hiking, fishing, rafting, mountain biking, white water rafting or tubing the Kern. It's also one of the best craft breweries in the west. Service was great. Ambience, mountain town. Vibe, chill

We came to Kern River Brewing twice in a few days for lunch and had a great experience both times. Tried both the pub and the backyard—both were solid, but we especially loved the food at the backyard spot. Super friendly staff and good all around!

Seat yourself type place, which is nice but it took quite a while to be helped once seated and it wasn't busy at the time. The fried pickles though made up for it. By far the BEST fried pickles I've ever had. Breading is perfect, touch of dill on the outside and whole pickle spears. 10/10 recommend them if you like pickles. The rest of the food was good too

Amazing gem. I didn't expect anything to be this outstanding in Kern River. Everything on the menu looked good. Appetizers we had were great, everyone was happy with the food they got.
Had wide selection of brewed beers, often time it's harder to find a brewery with multiple reds, browns, etc ales, and this place had them and I enjoyed tasting each one.
Server we had was great, able to give good advice, was funny, very good at her job.
This is going on my must go list if ever around this location.

Great place to stop and grab a bite after a day of hiking. Typical brewery food but done right. Friendly and quick service. Don't skip the root beer!

I’ve been here a number of times, and each time the person who served me was impatient. It was awkward to tell them to wait. Asking them for condiments like ranch or any other sides like jalapeños was like asking them to give a pint of blood too. Friends and I were discussing how to split the bill, it took us like three seconds to decide, and the blonde cashier girl asked us, “what are we doing here?” with a sharp tone. As if she was frustrated, she had to wait. “Anything else?” “What else do you need” with pursed lips and a hurried attitude. She was the same girl who served us when we asked for ranch and jalapeños. She also had an older man bring the whole table ranch and jalapeños when only two of the four of us asked for it. Just seemed a little passive aggressive.
I’ve had the big daddy burger every time, expect for this last time. The pulled pork sandwich was dry and had little to no flavor. It was dry too, no bbq sauce. The fries are great though! The atmosphere is always a great experience.
It’s just been an overall collection of poor service experiences. I’ll stick with the big daddy burger next time.

Excellent beer, great service, good food, great atmosphere. Nothing like sitting on the patio looking at the mountains with a cold beer here. Dog friendly patio. They have plenty of vegetarian or vegan options, you can basically sub anything on the menu for a veggie substitute and they have beyond pattys you can sub also. Always a fun stop, you can count on the friendly service. Grab a growler Togo to enjoy later too! They have awesome merch.
