I can't believe I didn't write a review when I was up there. I drove up here to visit a friend and he took me out around town to show me around. This place seemed fun so we stopped by for a drink or two. We ended up staying downstairs and ordered a few more drinks and played pool with eachother and with the locals! I won once and the guy I was seeing up there kicked my butt after but what a fun vibe! Everyone there was nice and cool. The bar tenders were nice and fast! I even got free popcorn! Thank you, kind sir, for grabbing me some! Indoor and outdoor seating! Great for sports and get togethers! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

Cozy little dive with a pool table and juke box. I'm told that they do karaoke during the week. They had a nice spread out for Thanksgiving to feed the local bar flies. The staff and clientele seemed fairly friendly despite us being out-of-towners. I stop in every time I'm passing through Kernville out of tradition.

This bar is awesome . Inside has the old rustic type feeling with a U shape bar, If you want to watch sports on TV. They have enough TV's in there to make everyone happy. The patio outside has more tables and chairs, and let's not forget the cornhole games, ping pong and an upstair patio and bar that's just great with a view of town center.The ladies who work there are very nice. I haven't tried any food there!, but when they have pot lucks it's fantastic, who knew we had excellent cooks out there. So when you are here in Kernville. Stop by and have a cool one and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Downstairs is a grungy, classic mountain dive bar with bikers, locals and visitors hanging out. But wait: times are a changing. I'm told the new owner is from LA and ran Boardners in Hollywood (great spot), so she's a pro who has been making some critical upgrades. Downstairs may be funky, but upstairs is a different world. The new upstairs deck is usually open on weekends and is a whole lot prettier and quite sleek with its own bar, a cool loft area and a great outdoor patio to lounge on - a perfect place to oversee smalltown Kernville. Bartenders are friendly, custom cocktails are cute and strong. I love the Locals Lounge on Sunday afternoons with live music and The KR Ceviche Company or Mr.Taco serving their authentic Mexican fare.

Divey, smelly and sad even with the remodel. The upstairs is nice, but the bar is hardly ever actually open. Even on "local sundays". They'll market specialty cocktails, but the bartenders don't like making them. They like pouring shots and opening beers. If that's your jam, you'll dig it.

Amazing place with such a fun friendly atmosphere. The best bartenders!! Had such a fun day there but what really stood out was when the staff took great care of my personal items I left behind and even MAILED THEM to me after I had to leave town. That in itself is above and beyond, exceptional service. This town is full of great people, especially the ones working here. :)
