Location is under new management and you can tell they care about turning things around. Greeted warmly by staff. Happy to have choices that weren’t fast food burgers or boring Subway sandwiches. Food was fresh and hot. Manager offered my son a “secret menu” option for his quesadilla. My other son also has peanut and tree nut allergies and we had no problem getting him food that was safe for him. Building exterior could use sprucing up but interior was fine. Clean and basic but did the trick. Will definitely stop by on future road trips along 5 cuz I’m tired of greasy burgers and Subway.Dietary restrictions: Peanut & tree nut allergies

I don't often write reviews, but I was impressed with the staff at this location. There aren't a ton of good food options in the area, especially for vegetarians. The folks behind the counter had a great attitude and the meals were super flavorful.

Just made a quick stop. The meet was good and juicy. Service was quick. If you ever drove by... it's a good option.Parking: Few spots but it's by a gas station so it's not for you to stay forever!

Limited menu and the just-OK restroom is in the gas station mini mart next door, but this wasn't a bad place to grab a burrito and drinks to go. A little pricey, but that's how fast food has gotten to be in California. Probably not your first-choice stop in Kettleman, but options are limited.

We stopped into Baja Fresh for something quick to eat. The food was great, for a reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and kind. The place was very clean.

I have never written a review before, but this was truly a bad experience. We went there and ordered two bowls, the guy at the counter ran out of rice so he went to the fridge, pulled out the tray and touched everything on his way there. When he came back, he continues preparing our food without changing gloves (he touched all the Ingredients with his hands). Being the millennial that me and my partner are, we didn’t complain and got our food. As soon as we left we threw it out and went to Subway. Ingredients also looked very stale and like they had been sitting out for way too long. Also, extremely dirty with all the Ingredients mixing with each other. This place should be called Baja not Fresh.
Food looked terrible. Staff seemed more interested in playing on phones as opposed to making sure the food behind the counter was presentable. Beans had film on them. Probably out too long . Pico looked terrible.

Horrible experience. Horrible food. Unbelievably expensive. Disgusting bathroom. Music so loud inside with every other word the n word and f word. Not a family environment for sure. Got a few burritos on the way south. With in 30 belly hurting. Within an hour severe nausea. Few more hours explosive (pull to the side of the highway to crap but not making it in time resulting in throwing away you underwear) diarrhea. Eat anything else. Anything. Wish I had. 2 days later I'm still sick.

Trust the bad reviews for this place and go to Subway or Chipotle. They are understaffed, so everything is pretty much gone, and they can't keep up with demand. 2 salads cost $32 with guacamole and 1 extra meat. The chicken didn't look fresh, like maybe it came from a can. Two stars because the lettuce was fresh.
