My husband and I go here about 2x a month. I can have sushi, if I want, and he can get a variety of grilled foods, bento boxes or plates... This is just a great little place!

The food here was so good and came out so fast. The server was so attentive and friendly and took care of us very well. The setting is family oriented, it’s nothing lavish or luxurious but rather comfortable and laid back. I feel like this is a place where I could eat sushi in my pjs and nobody would notice lol.

I have ordered here before and its been ok but today food was horrible. I ordered a salmon bento. The salmon was dry, no dressing for the salad and the tempura was not ok.

My husband called me after him and his coworker stopped in Hibatchi in Kingsburg for dinner tonight. He called me just to tell me to leave this review on tbeir behalf. The first red flag was that the place reeked of fish. (Very strong odor but because its sushi they ignored it) 2nd red flag was what they ordered came out on a bed of iceberg lettuce and did not look appetizing. After attempting to at least taste the rolls they were immediately turned off. The sushi was warm, plates were warm, and their fingers instantly smelled like rotten fish. Obvisously that was the 3rd and final red flag. Needless to say they were absolutely disgusted and left the establishment, still hungry and sick to their stomaches. They will never return and nether should anyone eles. Let's just hope food poisoning doesn't ruin the rest of their shift.
