Almost authentic. Been here several times. So I feel i can share my opinion. The bread is good and the prices are good but the owners are not cultured in Mexican traditions. I went in on Dia de los muertos and middle aged lady behind counter had no clue about the tradition. No pan de muerto, another patron was asking her about bread and cempasúchil flower. She said she didn't know anything about that. I guess it's white wash understandably, just wish it was actually authentic. Gentrification is a problem

My daughter is in LOVE with concha so as a treat after grocery shopping I like to get her her own pan. We normally go to a place dinuba but I decided to check out Ideal Home since it’s closer to home. The place looks like stepping into a little bakery in Mexico! It’s got piñatas hanging from the ceiling, Mexican spices, candies, pan, and pretty much everything you would expect from a little Mexican corner store. The gentleman who served us was kind and personable. And these concha’s were some of the best I’ve had, tasted like fresh baked that morning. So glad to have this store here in town and can’t wait for our next shopping trip!

A few years ago the owner gave my husband and me a tour of the back room where the bakery items are created. Plus the oven is huge and is original to the history of the building. If you go visit try the original bakery goods and ask about the historical oven. Great story about Kingsburg.
