This is my all time favorite Mexican bakery. It is small and choices are limited, but the prices are fair and the food is excellent. Everytime I go to this small town I have to stop and get something from this bakery.
Almost authentic. Been here several times. So I feel i can share my opinion. The bread is good and the prices are good but the owners are not cultured in Mexican traditions. I went in on Dia de los muertos and middle aged lady behind counter had no clue about the tradition. No pan de muerto, another patron was asking her about bread and cempasúchil flower. My daughter is in LOVE with concha so as a treat after grocery shopping I like to get her her own pan. We normally go to a place dinuba but I decided to check out Ideal Home since it’s closer to home. The place looks like stepping into a little bakery in Mexico! It’s got piñatas hanging from the ceiling, Mexican spices, candies, pan, and pretty much everything you would expect from a little Mexican corner store.
