I love staying away from chains and getting recommendations from local people for restaurants. This place did not disappoint. It's a bar, and a grill. We went on a weeknight, and there were only about 5 people in the place. Its casual. You get your drinks at the bar and order your food across the room at the grill. the bartender was friendly, a football game was on the TV and the locals were welcoming. This place is an absolute must stop! We were a party of 6 and everyone agreed that these were the best burgers we’ve had in a long while. Don’t be put off by the no frills environment; the burgers are perfectly cooked and full of flavour, with fresh toppings and crispy fries. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a solid burger without the fuss!
We stopped in for dinner from a recommendation from the front desk manager at our hotel across the street. When you walk in, you order at the kitchen door and then grab a drink at the bar, pick a table and relax. As I was reviewing the menu inside, two local patrons told me you can’t go wrong with the patty melt. So I ordered one with fries.
