This is a 5 STAR experience and THE place to stop to grab a meal while in the redwoods. It's right across from the Trees of Mystery redwood center, with plenty of parking and can accommodate a crowd or large group. We were skeptical because of some negative reviews, and they were simply not our experience at all. In fact, we plan to return again in our Redwood National Park travels. Our waitress was so helpful, attentive, and fun to chat with. We ordered several different omelettes, sausage, and pancakes for breakfast. The hash browns that came with our omelettes were especially tasty and our breakfasts were all delicious. Not a single piece of food leftover on anyone's plate. We had kids with us and can rarely say that after a meal out. We loved the coffee and they kept the refills coming. Ingredients were all fresh and quality. Food came quickly, and our server checked in many times. She even wrote us out directions for the many sites and gave us advice on how to pick and choose from so many things to see here. I highly recommend a visit to the Forest Cafe. Really hit the spot and also provides a great atmosphere with its thematic and colorful decor.

Tourist trap,Dirty cafeteria style dining. My grilled sandwich was soaked in dirty flattop residue and grease. Straight nasty and expensive prices.Parking: Gross food, dirty cafeteria, questionable food violations but plenty of free parking.

Pretty sure the clam chowder here gave me really bad food poisoning for three days. When it came out it was super thick - should never have eaten it.

Industrial diner fast food; tasteless and low quality. You grab your own menu, find your own table, then walk up to the host/hostess stand to place your order. You get a ticket and a number. Someone brings your food to you on a tray. Then you go back up to the podium to pay, and they have the courage to ask for a tip for service that you provided to yourself. Don’t waste your time or money here. So much unrealized potential.

Absolutely if you love baby's in the back kitchen crawling around as moms trying to feed the world & her child. This place lacks healthy coworkers or anybody at all for that matter. Absolutely will never see me here again I'm disappointed. Oh and the orange juice is Yuck.

After visiting Trees of Mystery (which is over the road from Forest Cafe) we wanted a bite to eat so tried Forest Cafe. Welcoming staff (and great interior decor). Took menus to the table then went up to the counter to order. Good value sandwiches and fries. Free refill drinks available too. Our server was attentive and friendly. Whilst there are not really any other eateries close by, would certainly recommend Forest Cafe for a quick bite to eat if in the part of the Redwoods.

We visited this place after the sky trail. The vegetarian burger was good, I wasn't impressed with the chicken tenders. I wish I had ordered something else.

Good food in a great national park! It is located right across the street from the trees of mystery, adjacent to a motel with plenty of parking. Loved the ceiling with all the duck feet, cool idea. Great to have a bite sitting at the window. Definitely stop by!Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly

Had the BBQ cheddar sloppy Joe. Horrible!! The fries had more flavor then the meat. The meat did not have a taste at all. Suggest you revise your recipe.

I’m really surprised this place doesn’t have better ratings. We stayed at the attached Motel Trees and were disappointed it wasn’t open the day we arrived but we’re able to have breakfast the following morning. Absolutely loved the decor!!! We thought the food was decent, friendly service and fair prices. For a convenient food stop, I would highly recommend!!

Trees of Mystery is across the highway and this restaurant has been a Klamath landmark along with the adjoining motel. We just missed breakfast (11am) and wish they had an all-day breakfast. Order given at front and drinks and food served at table. A simple salad, fries and sandwiches- type menu.
