Salmon jerky is amazing.
My husband and I have been buying from Paul's for literally decades. It's a place we frequency whenever on the Coast.
My favorite is the alder plank smoked salmon fresh from the fire. 🤤 Second is the garlic 🧄 smoked salmon which has only 4 ingredients: salmon, salt, garlic, and alder smoke. Quite literally, everything here is delish. Bring your cooler because the salmon need to be kept under 38°F.
100% fabulous smoked salmon.
The way smoked salmon tastes in my dreams! Amazing, 10/10
I didn’t expect this to be as good as it was. Really impressed.
I was told they smoke the best salmon, so I paid the crazy high price of $30 for two little chunks. I really hate giving bad reviews, but I feel they earned it. What I got was old and dry and super boney. I catch and smoke my own salmon, so I like to compare mine to the pro's. Also it was some of the boneiest salmon I have ever had. I wouldn't recommend Paul's, especially for the price they charge. I think they're not on the up & up. No price per pound, weight, or sell by date. Maybe someone that doesn't know better might think it's ok, but I think they're a rip off.
The lemon pepper smoked salmon was pretty good. Going in I expected a softer texted, but these are definitely on the drier side. Still had heat flavor. There are also several souvenirs and I grabbed some $3 candles.
We didn't care for the jerky at all. It was too fishy, and not seasoned. But the smoked Salmon fillet was one of the best things I've ever tasted.
We stopped here on a whim and were so happy. Walked in right before closing and the lady working was so friendly. We walked out with 1 pack of the traditional smoked salmon - we were so hungry we ate it in the car. It was so delicious that my boyfriend went back in and bought another pack (this time the Hot n Spicy). We just had it for breakfast this morning and it was so delicious. Wish we could go back and get more for the remainder of the trip!
Absolutely life changing salmon - it was an honor to eat this traditionally prepared food, right along the river!

I never have had salmon jerky. It’s kinda interesting
You can't take a trip up the 101 and NOT come to Paul's Famous Smoked Salmon! Seriously has the best smoked salmon I've ever had, and I grew up coming here during trips North to visit family and always marvelling over how delicious it is. Now that I'm a solo-travelling adult, I'm always sure to stop by when I'm in the area to say hi and make off with some salmon jerky!
You always know they're open when they've got a fire going in the front and the smoked salmon is priced by weight, hence there being no price tags, so prices vary depending on how big of a piece you pick out. My favourite is the lemon pepper, but the salmon candy and jerky is always a great choice! Don't be afraid to ask questions, they're super friendly and have a lot of great information about their products and the surrounding area! I definitely spend way too much time here just standing around and talking, and I can't wait for my next trip through the area!
Drove 40 miles to come here. It's not open on a Monday at 2pm. I'm extremely disappointed. They need to update the hours.
Delicious! Tried it all! Friendly guy at the register. Very helpful! Beautiful pup tied up outside also.
Incredible
