Years ago I came here in the middle of a roadtrip, I got the philly cheesesteak and I STILL think about to this day. I live in LA County and have had many cheesesteaks that LOOKED better but the flavor is always lacking.

Just a cozy restaurant with very yummy food and great customer service we love eating here everytime it's yummy and great gifts and market haven't stayed in a cabin yet but would love to but this is a definite yes for stopping in and eating or taking it on the road

Staying many times over the years and they remember us and we enjoy staying.

The cabins are quaint and a modest step up from camping. There is no AC or shampoo/conditioner provided. The shower head was quite leaky and not of a high quality.

I've stayed in multiple cabins, camped etc, and this is definitely on the lower end of my experiences relative to the price paid.

We didn’t stay at the cabins, just popped in for food. The food was great!! Sandwiches that really hit the spot after a long morning, and large. The curly fries were also delicious. Great beer on tap. Super friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again!

Cute for the price and super close to attractions. Restaurant in the market is super cute and good food!

This is a review for the little restaurant they have. We came here at the recommendation from an employee at Trees of Mystery down the road. The food was delicious and good portions. We came here for breakfast and lunch. The peach and blueberry cobbler was amazing. We all ordered one on our way out.

They’ll tell you the WiFi is spotty, but power can also be spotty. Management was non-responsive by phone or email. Spoke to one of our neighbors and they said they’d been told the power goes out from time to time. For our needs it wasn’t a huge problem, but the lack of transparency and response was off-putting.

Stayed in Cabin 12. Easily accessible. Very clean and as described. Bed is comfortable. Water pressure is amazing.

We drove up to book the cabin for one night and at first glance seemed clean enough. In the evening before going to sleep, we noticed several of these bugs in the bed and on the floor. The night host responded quickly to change the bed sheets. It felt really uncomfortable knowing the bugs were there and I wouldn’t recommend staying.

Not a bad place to stay. Clean and right next to a lot of hikes, views, and things to do. My only issue is the wifi connection is bad or non- existent for 80% of the property.

We stayed here for 1 Night while visiting Redwood National Park in July 2025

The Cabins are perfect with TV , refrigerator microwave
Located 20mins from the Prairie visitor center and 25 mins from crescentcity
There is a market too but explore it

The staff are wonderful, we left something behind and they were kind enough to inform us and keep it in the market office. I truly appreciate the same.

If you end up going after 7PM for check in do call them once in advance just to make sure the keys taken care. Also for the food you need to go to crescent city after 7PM

Highly recommend the stay .

Location is great. We were there for two nights. The second morning there was very little water coming from the faucets and shower. We had to leave early so could not shower or even let them know of the problem as they don’t open the store until 8:30AM

The small cafe was actually delicious food! The chef is a miracle maker, food was really good and this is best place to grub for a while!
