Sushi Monster – Montrose
We had a great experience at Sushi Monster in Montrose. From start to finish, everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and well taken care of.
The rolls were the standout — beautifully presented, generous portions, and packed with flavor. Each roll tasted fresh and well-balanced, without being overpowered by sauces. The nigiri and sashimi were equally impressive, clearly made with quality fish and attention to detail.
What really elevated the meal, though, was the attentive and friendly service. Our server was knowledgeable, checked in at the right moments, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling rushed or pushy. It made the entire experience feel genuinely enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a reliable local sushi spot with excellent rolls and great service, Sushi Monster is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back. 🍣

i went in after they closed ( i didn’t see the sign 😭), but they were all so sweet and still let me order to go. not only was the food amazing (10/10) but i have never met such sweet and welcoming people.

This is our favorite spot to dine in if we are craving sushi and rolls 🍱 it’s always always always fresh, the fish is shining when they bring it in. And when I say always, I mean we dine in here once or twice a week. The staff is so friendly. We have never been disappointed and honestly haven’t liked sushi or rolls anywhere else as much as we do it at Sushi Monster. We have tried almost the entire menu and everything is so good. It’s very affordable and the atmosphere is very friendly and warm. We usually get the hot green tea 🍵 which they refill as much as you want. The green tea ice cream is great too.

I'm sorry but very basic rolls. No wow factor service was pleasant. The presentation was basic as well. The one thing that was very good and plentiful was the garlic edamame was very good.
To be completely honest this is my first and last time here. Food is very bland has no flavor at all.
If you’re in the area and want to eat sushi I highly recommend zen has more flavor or a little drive down to Burbank to niko niko.
Be warned no flavor it’s very bland .

We love sushi monster. the dumplings are like no other and the firecracker is absolutely amazing as well as garlic edamame. The owners are good friends with us and are nice people. service is amazing we sit down right away and order right away. the food is all so good. Definitely recommend!!
