Los Padilla has your typical street taco menu and for the most it's okay. I ordered an Al Pastor Burrito and taco along with a carne asada taco. The flavor was great but the burrito was more rice than meat. For $21 bucks there shouldn't be so much filler. The service was fast and friendly and I may be back with a request "light on the rice."

This place is such a gem. The carne asada street tacos are incredible-so authentic. Other things I've had that are good: the fish tacos, chicken flautas, pollo street tacos. If you're going to order anything let it be the carne asada street tacos bc it's probably the best thing here!

Update: had the Carne Asada burrito and it was fantastic - even the rice was super flavorful. Good size, kept me full until dinner.

Fantastic food, friendly service, and the prices are great, too. I can't think of any other place that has such delicious tacos in the Montrose La-Crescenta area.

Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I was hoping to find some good rolled tacos ( flautas at Padillas although they are still corn tortillas). Unfortunately they inexplicably put large tomato slices on top rendering all the flautas soggy. Sorry, it can't be "authentic", nobody wants soggy flautas. The people who work here are nice enough though.

The best Mexican food in this area IMO. Excellent service as well. I've explored everything on their menu and wanted to share some of my favorites :) 1. Chile relleno plate (order w/ extra tortillas) 2. Chile relleno burrito 3. Carne asada tostada (add queso fresco) 4. Carne asada torta (add queso fresco) 5. Al pastor taco w/ handmade tortilla 6. Handmade quesadilla w/ any meat And I always order a jamaica and churros!
