“Found along the way of an alternate route, definitely a cool atmosphere! Alot of original building materials still in place. CLEAN BATHROOMS are located out back.

Im my younger days i spent alot of time in Death Valley, in the small mining towns bars and let me tell ya, this place definitely brought those memories back.

If you're traveling from the south, thru or to coulterville, take this route and rest stop here, it avoids coming in from the east (absolutely treacherous mountain roads) white knuckle switchback stuff.

This route has nice roads, no shear cliffs and of course, LOUIES PLACE SALOON.

Had the cowboy burger, cooked correctly, not overly sauced, kid had chicken tenders. Everything enjoyed the experience and food.

Also a good selection of liquor!“
