Great local cafe in Ladera. We love the food, coffee, and overall vibe. The owner is very kind and always offers our dog a fresh bowl of water. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, this place hasn't gotten any better over my last few visits. I have been back a few times since my last review and it seems like cutting corners has become the norm here. I was here with my coworker and we both ordered pastries and coffee. I took a bite of my croissant and it was completely cold. I asked if they could warm it up and they said since I had already taken a bite, they couldn't. I understand the sanitary reasons why, but I feel they should have offered to warm it up before handing it to me. Most people don't enjoy cold croissants, much less one that costs as much as it did. My coworker ordered a large Americano and they gave her a small (or medium, not sure which one). When she pointed it out, they poured what was in the smaller cup into a large cup and filled the rest with ice. This place is cute, but it's just not worth it. Tiny portions and quality is hit or miss.

Bummed! I've been eating here since they opened and recently it's just not been very good. I ordered an egg salad sandwich today and asked for pickles and if they could put mayo on the bread because this particular sandwich tends to be dry. No pickles and no mayo, the bun was slightly stale and there was more arugula than egg salad. Last time I ordered avocado toast there was not even a half of an avocado smeared on a large thick piece of bread. As much as I love to support local business I just can't spend $14-16 for bread and arugula

I waited at the till for 5 minutes, clearly waiting to order- they have a screen in the front and just look at that so I start trying to order but it still wouldn't let me. There are two workers who I made eye contact with and saw me struggling to order. After waiting for 10 minutes with 2 baristas in front of me, still no one helped. I dropped the pastries I was holding and just left. Awful service. Dont come here.

My last review was so many years ago! We continue to love Lolas, we go almost every Sunday. They have so many vegan and vegetarian options. I love that they got rid of the plates and are back to serving food on the wood boards. My old favorite mixed berry flatbread wasn't as great a month or so ago, maybe because it wasn't berry seasons, but the Sunrise Flatbread is my new obsession. It is so good, just wish I could order it ahead on the clover app - there is some glitch that makes it requires to add 5 items on the flatbread in order to add it to your cart.

Yummy yummy breakfast options. Everything was fantastic. Avocado toast (gf) was 4 slices & generous on the avocado. The maple glazed donut was perfect. French toast soufflé was delicious. The lavender latte was great. We had a group of 6 with 2 high chairs on a Saturday morning so we got there at 8:45. Once 9:00 hits the place was packed. They do have outdoor patio seating on the side. Can't wait to go back!

I had the best time at Lola's Cafe today and Ava and Matthew are lovely! I have been missing Los Angeles for the cafes, boutiques, and other fun things to do. I ordered the best turkey club sandwich so fresh and a lavender rose latte. My son ate tomato soup and enjoyed Moroccan mint tea. Their shop reminded me of my favorite cafes. But the best part was speaking to the owners, meeting their staff and hugging Ava! I will be back!

It was my first time at Lola's and I absolutely loved it. Matthew (not sure if he is the owner) was the kindest and sweetest person ever. I couldn't make up my mind as to what to order. He recommended their gluten free vegan chocolate cake. I was not very excited about it. But let me tell you it was DELICIOUS. A must have, highly recommended. Not in million years would I have thought something vegan and gluten free could taste this good. My friends had the avocado toast and it looked amazing. Very fresh

The veggie wrap is tasty but got soggy and fell apart. I couldn't quite eat it w/o a spoon and fork. If you don't plan to eat it right away do not buy it.Nice atmosphere, love the outdoors.
