Food - the food was okay. Service - the service was great our server was kind. Ambiance - the ambience was great as there were plenty of people there and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Here is my 3.5 rating - I had a gift card that I have meaning to use and today was that day. Once our check came I handed my gift and and credit card to cover the remaining balance and to my surprise "their system is not accepting gift cards" we paid the balance cash but felt jipped by this so called system. Please don't be part of a gift card system if you are not going to honor said gift card system. Edit: thank you Brock for your response that's very nice. I noticed your menu had a slip in the front to notify your customers of the price discrepancies (which is appreciated). If I may suggest adding to that note that gift card processing is currently unavailable that would be helpful to avoid any confusion. Hindsight I should have asked from the get go if the gift card is valid but we live and learn.

We went to Annie's Cafe for breakfast recently. The restaurant was very busy, which is always a good sign. The servers were absolutely fantastic. They brought us coffee and silverware right away. As for cleanliness, I am going with 4 stars. The silverware was dirty, there were still bits of food on them. We had to ask for a new set; no big deal. We sat near the front door, so there is a wall with a glass there, the glass looked as if no one had cleaned it in a lot time. The amount of grime on the chairs and table were off putting. When using the restroom, it was extremely gross. You can tell that cleaning is not totally taken seriously outside of the kitchen. Overall, great food and service.

I had breakfast during the week, and there was no line. I was able to get a table for 2. I placed our order, and it was quick. We ordered the Hobo skillet and the chorizo breakfast burrito. My friend was running late, and they were able to keep her dish warm. The service was excellent, and they are kind! I enjoy going to our local spot!
