Y'all... I shouldn't share this secret, but everyone deserves to know!!! They have the most amazing breakfast burrito now! We came in for tacos and found out they are adding one to the menu and had to try it. You need to as well. Trust me you will NOT be disappointed!

If you’re strolling on by looking for some real Mexican food, it’s legit here. Compas Tacos are so delicious, take me back to my childhood year. Cashiers, cook are very friendly, welcoming and they make you feel like home. Food is fresh and delicious. Very clean in the restaurant. I love their fresh drinks. I stumbled upon Compas Tacos while hiking in the area and I am happy I did!Vibe: It's a typical strip center restaurant - nothing fancy, nothing special, but super clean which I appreciate in a restaurant. You order at the counter, and in my case, as it wasn't too busy, they brought my tacos out to me.Service: Super Friendly and Welcoming.Food: I should preface that I am a pescatarian, so I am always on the lookout for fish and shrimp tacos. I had one fish and one shrimp taco. The tacos were super plentiful and packed with protein! Two tacos were more than enough for me. Both the shrimp and fish were in a batter and fried, then topped with shredded cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro, and a sauce. The reason I gave this review a 4 was because of the batter. There was a flavor - black pepper and other seasonings that I personally didn't care for. It wasn't offensive, just strong enough that I noticed it. I live on the east coast and I would pay good money to have a place this good. I was served by the owner, his son, and the cook. Genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever met. The food is fantastic, and the horchata is some of the best I've had. Will definitely be back.
