Best carniasada burrito 🌯 (a touch of sdgo) hard to find in Elsinore.

First glance, I see the tacos are expensive. 11.99 for ONE big shrimp taco?! Street tacos are 11.99 for 3. Prices definitely have gone up since they opened but that might not be their fault with the economy issues. Whatever I was already committed in ordering. I got the chicken street tacos. They were lacking flavor but the chicken was soft, at least there was a decent amount of meat and they had a sturdy tortillas. The salsas were good too.

I don’t know what my favorite part was; the pungent aroma of grease with a side of bathroom, the broken A/C making it as warm as a sauna, or reheating my undercooked food when I got home…I guess you can at least sweat off the pounds you put on if you’re brave enough to eat there. It was an olfactory experience that paired perfectly with the oppressive heat, creating an ambiance that can only be described as “eau de regret.”

First off, the lady at the drive though was rude and you can tell she was not happy that I ordered and she had to lift a bag to hand to me (such hard work). I ordered their rolled tacos and they are completely stale! If you had good service I'd give you 3 stars but with that rude thing at the register and the stale tacos. You deserve bad reviews. How difficult is it to make fresh food and be nice??

First thing you notice when you walk in is that the smell of the grease trap/ sewer smacks you in the face, quite literally.

Then we walk up to order and the lady taking the order was extremely rude, no eye contact, no reply to thank you, just attitude and dirty looks. Terrible customer service to say the absolute least.

Food was pretty good though. I’ve been to the temecula location and met the owner, very nice man, restaurant was much cleaner and the service was much better.

Fix the smell and get rid of her would be my best advice. From one business owner to the other, she’s gotta go!

Cannot rate the atmosphere very much as we went through the drive-thru. Food was good.

Fish taco and Shrimp taco were amazing!! And I love their taco sauce on top!! Enchiladas and chile rellenos were also fabulous. This was the best restaurant Mexican food I've had since moving down here 10 years ago from the Central Coast!! So glad I stumbled upon El Burrito Lake Elsinore!!
