My fiance and I love this restaurant. If you come in on a Saturday, theres a decent chance you'll find us here. Ya know, I used to take this place for granted. Its my comfort diner after all. Well recently I went to a Dennys over the holidays that was honestly just horrific and it really made me a appreciate how nice it is that Hunnys has clean floors, good prices, a friendly staff, and has hardly ever disappointed us.
Eat here. This is a good restaurant. This is the local diner you want in your neighborhood.

I wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing.
The prices make no sense. A small juice is $3.99 and a large is $4.99, but the small is basically a shot glass and the large comes in a normal cup. It feels like they charge premium prices for very little value.
I ordered the Portuguese steak. The flavor was decent, but both steaks were cooked completely gray even though I asked for one medium and one medium rare. The texture was dry and tough, more like leather than steak.
I told the server, but nothing was done. No apology, no offer to fix it, no discount.
Between the high prices, overcooked food, and poor service, I won’t be coming back.

I ordered their famous Hunnys Cafe fried chicken and waffle; however, in my humble opinion, it was lacking in flavor. It was perfectly cooked and juicy, but it just didn’t have that je ne sais quoi. The waffle was fluffy and had a good taste.
The service, on the other hand, was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, always making sure your coffee cup stayed full.

Definitely worth the trip if you are in the area and craving breakfast at any time. Generous portions, friendly service, great with kids (fun options for them too), and you definitely have to try their Portuguese Steak and Eggs, it was a taste adventure!
So happy to have discovered this quaint unassuming eatery.
I hear their burgers and crepes are a must try as well, so we will have to try thise next time around!
You won't regret the trip to Flavortown at Hunny's!

Nice spot to eat 😋 I really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes that I had. The avocado toast and club sandwich were good too. Brought my daughters here they really enjoyed it all. Small joint and it was packed due to labor day. Ask for Mike our server was cool and made it entertaining (unfortunately a Bills fan lol) so make sure to rep your team! Very welcoming and inviting everyone was friendly! Go Cowboys!!! I will be back!

Hunny's has been a fam favorite for many years. Today we had Monte Cristos, there are only a few places that make em well and this is one !! The zucchini lightly battered,amazing, onion rings thick sliced to perfection. Well lite, clean, Debbie was friendly and attentive to made sure our visit went well. Thank you.
