I order from this place, I honestly don't think this place is good at all, and the salsa is just water they have No flavor at all, the carne asada was salty and way too over price, there are some better Mexican places that have better price and more quality food, I don't recommend this place to anyone, got my stomach upset after eating here

Salsas we're good. But the machete was disappointing. I was expecting it to be crunchy but it was very soggy and the Al pastor had a funny spice in it. Probably won't be coming back.

The food is made fresh and you can taste the difference in all their dishes and drinks made from scratch. I recommend the fish tacos.

Visited in December 2021, ordered huarache and a fish taco; both were really good! They make dough for huaraches and machetes themselves; I liked it so much better than in most other places where the dough is pre-made. Will come again!

When we saw the name, we didn't think they actually had machetes, I was happily surprised since I haven't had one since Mexico City. I tried the machete and quesadilla and they were AMAZING! They use maíz for most of their dishes that makes them even more delicious. The flor de calabaza and the chicharrón were my favorite.

O.m.g. The asada burrito was tge best I've ever had in years. Marinated perfectly and very tender. I'm surprised there's no long line.

It took me awhile to get over here after I discovered My Lucky Machete on Yelp as a "hot and new" business, but boy am I glad I stopped lollygagging around and got with the program! The photos of a 2-foot taco were honestly enough to intrigue me, but I didn't expect the rest: House made tortillas! Super friendly owner and staff! Very clean and stylish interior! House made agua frescas! Craft sodas on tap! My favorite item is by far the queca frita, a fried stuffed taco filled with melty cheese, your filling of choice, lettuce and crema. I can easily fill up on one, but why would I, when I can fill up on two?? I'm partial to pastor, so that's what I typically get. I've been happy with the pollo l tinga, tinga de res and carne asada as well, but I'm a creature of habit when it comes to my taco consumption, and pastor always send to take the winning position on my plate. The machete is my other favorite, but I've learned the hard way (by literally hurting myself overeating) that we should only order one of those when treating guests to a taxi night or when not ordering a queca frita. They make your giant tortilla when you order it, then grill it and fill it for you. I'm not a huge fan of their side items, but it doesn't really matter because I never have room for them after the main courses I order anyway- haha! So glad we've finally been able to add this to our rotation, and I hope they continue to be awesome for many years to come!!

Sooooo good. People are friendly. The pineapple mint drink is very good. You will not be disappointed in anything you order.

We are returning today because we ordered yesterday and it was so good! Fresh and high quality ingredients, great presentation, exquisite flavors! Absolutely recommended!

The staff is very friendly. I love the keto cheese shell taco on a bed of lettuce. All of their meat is tasty, they take the time and make things right. It's a small space, not super accommodating for large groups, so we normally take it to go. You won't be sorry if you give it a try. If you ask them, they will recommend what's good.

What a wonderful find while passing through the area! The name was intriguing, the photos on yelp enticing! We were not hungry enough to tackle the machete, that we will have to return for the next time it looks amazing! The Gorditas And tacos were absolutely delicious and the service was so welcoming and inviting. The prices are very affordable, portions extremely generous and it always feels good to support such a hardworking local business. I cannot wait to return and try more items if we passed through again. Highly recommend it!
