Looks older and a bit run down. Kind of dark and gloomy inside so we ordered to go. Shake machine was down, bummer I had to stop somewhere else to get one! The service was okay, the food was pretty good but a bit pricey. I may go there again but it's not a place I'd send someone or or be craving myself.
Would've let a better review but I had to ask for my burrito twice once 10 minutes after all the food but it was out and then 10 minutes later the lady at the counter was great but the lady at the grill was rude said she was working on it when it was actually done so 20 minutes later the other 4 people in my group are done eating and I got a luke warm burrito and they forgot the salsa not worth 15 bucks if I wanted a luke warm burrito del taco is across the way

Looking for great takeout food at a great price? Well, this establishment is not the place... S S Burger Basket is not what it once was years ago. The prices have skyrocketed and the customer service along with the food quality and quantity has plummeted. The atmosphere is unwelcoming as if everyone could care less about your customer satisfaction. They are collecting your money without an exchange for quality and quantity in your food. We ordered a pastrami burger combo that came with a kids size drink and regular fries, an additional large fries on the side and a side of thousand island dressing ($1.08 small side dressing ) for a total of $22. Not worth it! The pastrami was overcooked and minced, the fries were stale and the soda was all carbonated water. Today's visit reminded me why our family has been avoiding it for quite some time now. It's sad and upsetting that establishments like this are still operating especially for a city that doesn't have many burger places that are worth spending your hard earned money on, especially when they don't care to rectify their poor service and food quality. Beyond disappointing, again!!!!

Best burger place in town. Tuesday they have a special on hamburgers. Lettuce wrap is thick with lettuce. Real charbroiled beef nice size patty with a large sesame bun. Love this place. Always hits the spot!

Fries! fries! fries! You'll get half a plate full of fries and I'm here for it. I always get the avocado cheeseburger and it's a handful it's juicy and delicious. What I don't like is how much they charge they are competent with a sit down gourmet restaurant. Not to mention the ranch is WAY OVERPRICED. The too way speaker sucks I have to mentally prepare myself of how many times I need to repeat myself.

I've been coming to SS for awhile now because they HAD some bomb chicken strips. I have problems eating and these WERE my comfort food. Sadly a few days ago I came in for my regular (kids chicken strips) and they were so hot they burnt a hole through the container they were in! They burned the hell out of my mouth and I was literally picking dead skin off the roof of my mouth for days! There's nothing wrong with food being too hot if it's GOOD so I came in again for my regular and this time they weren't even cooked! I took a bite without realizing how funky the chicken stip looked and it tasted like fish. The fries also tasted funky and were COVERED in grease. Let's just say they lost business I came everyday for like a month prior to this and I'm actually upset :/
