Plan a trip to the area, & include this tasty place - Eat here! You will be delighted whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. We gladly enjoyed the Ethiopian vegetarian plate, one of us fasted on chicken enchiladas, and another had a perfect patty melt - all was truly delicious and the whole experience was a delight. If only I had known about this place sooner! I used to often park near Hansen Dam in Lakeview Terrace (to start and end my long bicycle rides into nearby mountains and Tujunga canyons,) and the one thing we needed near the whole Dam area was the Ranch Side Cafe! Great Burgers. Cold beer! I urge you to plan your journey to come out here, have a great adventure, and enjoy some delicious cookin' at the Ranch Side Cafe!

This is the only place in the valley to get good vegetarian Ethiopian food and I'm never disappointed. It's so satisfying scooping up and eating delicious veggies with injera bread. It's definitely the best way to eat your veggies. I can't wait to be back.

Been going here for years

Very pleasant place, good vibes. There’s a lot of variety in the menu and it’s been pretty good every time I’ve come by. The Ethiopian options are fun and very good.

Great little cafe setting, good service, but the food was BLAND. Maybe because I ordered off the Mexican menu instead of Ethiopian or American/breakfast menu, I’m not sure. But it was honestly worse than my home cooking… which is saying a lot.

My Family & I have been going to this restaurant for years & have always had Amazing service by the ladies there..Tonight I tried to place my usual order (bowl of chili no chives with a side of chips & my turkey club on white with avocado) from a guy named Johan or Husan very thick accent & was yelled at, argued with & hung up on because I said "No chives on my chili" to which he said "it's onion, it's onions" I replied with "o.k. whatever you want to call it" to which he argued about since I didn't say onions..I then asked for "A side of Chips please" to which he got upset & started yelling "we don't have chips we have tortilla chips"...WTF is wrong with this guy? In my 10yrs+ of going here I have never had such bad customer service. I asked for 1 of the ladies since they are the ones always there, to which he answered "I am the manager & those are my sisters." Well time to fire your brother ladies because that's no way to take an order. This is my 1st time ever coming across this guy & I will not be ordering from him with that attitude towards customers.

I love this place! The owner is a wonderful local woman who puts a lot of care into every meal they create. It's a key place for cowboys, locals and ranch workers because they know they can get a great meal here!

Food was amazing, I tried the Chorizo and eggs. The portions were huge, coffee was hot and fresh, waitress was super sweet and attentive. I wish this place was closer to my house, it’s a wonderful cafe!

Loads 9f food options, from burgers to breakfast, kids menu and Ethiopian foods. Everything we had was wonderful. Loads of Western art on all the walls.
