Marcel’s French Bakery & Cafe

Not only do they have great coffee and pastries, but they have their own balsamic vinegar and olive oil that comes from their own property. I didn't try the vinegar or oil but it looks delicious.

We arrived in the afternoon. They had limited items. The mini cannoli the shells were soggy. The chocolate eclare " that had chocolate folded into it" did not have much chocolate flavor, despite the chocolate layer on top or the "chocolate " filling. The slice of chocolate moose pie was good. The baklava was good.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The owner's/partner's are the friendliest awesome people. I was in Kelseyville, visiting from Fresno, and my sister took me to Marcel's French Bakery to try there pineapple tart. OMG...can you say DELICIOUS?!? it was SO good, that i now make it a point to stop there for my pineapple tart with fresh fruit on it, every time i go to Kelseyville. I was there again in Sept and they were sold out....OH NO!!! The guys were simply amazing remembering that i lived 5 hours away, they sprang into action and made me one on the spot. How's that for EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE?!? Oh what a happy customer I was:-)

Always a great experience and good service @ Marcels. Except for when the male is working at the Lakeport Bakery. Inconsistent and incorrectly made drinks/orders 👎🏻

Marcel's bakery and cafe is in "downtown" Lakeport, CA. We got coffees and breakfast sandwiches to go. The coffee was decent. But the breakfast was good. It seemed like it was understaffed.

Small cute little corner place with all the delicious french bakeries we love. Always made with perfection! They are keep on adding a variety to their selection. And new selections for the different seasons.

Absolutely the best coffee, dirty chai, smoothie and treats we have had! The lady is so sweet and charismatic, even let our daughter bring her little doggy in. What a pleasure! Definitely going back!
